Re: Round 15 Trades

Judd or Montagna?

Still can't split them.

Montagna.

Has easily the best run home of the major candidates: Essendon (115), Port Adelaide (140), North Melbourne (152), Richmond (143) & Adelaide (159), in brackets are the scores Leigh pumped out the last time he played those teams.

Shit...can't believe I just brought in Marc Murphy without looking at that :(

I got worried that he might be rested come Round 20, and I wouldn't have the trades to get someone else. :(

Re: Round 15 Trades

Gee Spud looking at those scores Joey does look good.... Is 5 saints to many? (Goddard, NDS, Gilbert, Joey, Roo)

I don't think you could have too many Saints. Nothing wrong with having the 5 you mention.

D: Goddard, Fisher, Gilbert
M: Montagna, NDS, Hayes
F: Riewoldt

Even if you had all 7 in there, you still wouldn't have too many. :):thumbsu:

I wouldn't have any more than those above though.

Re: Round 15 Trades

Midfield: Ablett, Dal Santo, Montagna, Judd, Ball, Barlow (Stevenson, Shuey)

I have two options (6 trades left).

I can either go Barlow > Boyd this week and pocket $70,000 or I can wait a week (with Stevenson getting a game) in the hope that Chapman gets <101 so that I can get him next week.

Is it worth the risk?

Re: Round 15 Trades

Okay I'm done after a whole week of me saying to myself "Judds a lock its gonna be him coming in friday night" Spud does his write up makes me think mabye Hayes is good value, then on single post about Joey and I'm convinced.

Out: Barlow
In: Montagna

Cheers Spud :thumbsu:

Gee Spud, you've just about convined me on Joey. :thumbsu:

Those numbers look to good to refuse. Just hope the Saints don't rest him:eek:

Obviously you can't be sure but after last year's result I'm not sure that they will go down the same path this year (or at least to such an extent).

Any thoughts on my situation above?

Hmmm, I took monty a few hours ago.

I'm happy to have him.

Hmmm... I don't really like the chances of Chappy scoring under 101 considering he's only done that once this season in round 1. Maybe it's just worth grabbing Boyd considering Chappy chances of scoring under 101 are slim and Boyd definately won't be rested as the Dogs are fighting for a top 4 position.

Re: Round 15 Trades

What does your midfield look like now Biggie?

I will probably just trade Barlow to Montagna this week.
GAj, Montagna, NDS, Pendles, Bartel, Judd.

Nothing to unique there Lotch.

Thanks for the reply!

I just needed somebody to confirm my thoughts and that is probably what I will do.

I have $591,100 to spend on a midfielder. Apart from Boyd, options are Pendlebury, Cross, Selwood, Bartel, Murphy, Watson and Hayes. On second thoughts, Cross looks pretty tempting.

Re: Round 15 Trades

8 trades left

probably going
Barlow > montagna

i also have Ziebell but would only have 365k to spend on.

So im thinking either leave Ziebell on bench for this week and play Gumbleton or downgrade Ziebell to maybe dennis-lane and hope to upgrade gumbleton to Riewoldt in the next couple of weeks.

Re: Round 15 Trades

Maguire -> Strijkekekekr
Barlow -> Montagna

6 trades left and my side still resembles Swiss cheese it has that many holes in it.

I also have JZ on the bench keeping JB company with Gumby for cover, but at least I've got the cash for Roo when he bottoms out. I'm keeping Gumby for the year though, he hasn't earned enough to warrant trading him for (very minimal) cash and with so many injuries around it's nice to know you've got cover in at least one position.

Re: Round 15 Trades

i just traded barlow for ablett, and I am looking for another trade?

I dont have a lot of cash, so I am thinking of downgrading Josh Hunt for a good young player who has the potential to go up in price

maybe dylan roberton or are there any other suggestions

Re: Round 15 Trades

guys really need some help.
should i sell hall to higgins to be able to then go barlow to swan or just go barlow to montagna???
thanks,

Re: Round 15 Trades

I may regret this, but I've just got rid of Waite for his cheaper, almost the same average and less aggro teammate Houlihan. Frees up some cash, and stops the blood pressure rising every time Jarrad goes in for the bump...

Oh, and Barlow to Joey Montagna. :D

9 trades and $100K left. Mids now Gazza, new recruit Joey, NDS, Judd, Cooney & Pendles, with Bastinac as an excellent emergency/finals downgrade option

Backline to be fixed up next week, unless Hurn and Goose come back- covering them with Silvagni, Nason and Webberly has been a little stressful...

Re: Round 15 Trades

Welcome aboard NDS.

Nice one. He won't let you down :D

Haha, my power of persuasion is undeniable (just wish it worked on the ladies).

I know, that was my only concern. So I ended up going Barlow > Murphy instead of Montagna. I can already see it back firing for me.

Welcome Selwood!

Ablett,Swan,Nds,Selwood,Judd and Montagna :D :thumbsu::thumbsu: :D

I want to have sex with that midfield line-up. (no homo) :D

Re: Round 15 Trades

Just went barlow to montagna, should i trade danny rich to priddis or cross? or is too early for a luxury trade
