It's hard to say without looking at your team, but not trading a gun forward (petrie) for a non playing spud (Goringe) would be a start. Don't trade keepers to make upgrades...look at getting rid of a non keeper and getting a playing rookie.

What's the point in keeping Petrie if i have COX and SANDILANDS......it's dead money

ONE TRADE LEFT??? There will be 9 rounds left after next week you goose. The way premiums are getting injured/suspended you are going to be copping a lot of donuts on the run home.

Not to mention players with injury clouds already eg. adcock, broughton (out earlier inthe year), swan (just coming back, who knows ho he will perform), sandi (first game back), pavlich (doubts over this week). Hope your bench is strong.

i'm well aware of how many rounds are left. i'm going the boom or bust strategy. it's the only chance i have at this stage of getting to a respectable ranking. at the moment i'm around 5400

My vote would be trade down Matera to JTippett, upgrade whoever you can...there's plenty of bargains out there. Swap Petrie to your fwds and bang another premium starter as well as cover for Cox/Sandi when they hit their byes.

a bit stuck at the moment, as i want to trade out heppell this week, and possibly darling, but then i also need cover for duigan who is now out as well and i also want to keep my forward line as strong as possible. I have 9 trades remaining and have 282k in the bank.

Tbh not sure if this one is worth a trade at the moment. Sandi has a pretty hefty b/e as well as a bye in 2 weeks while Smith is back, rested, scoring well and no byes to come. I'd at least wait and see how he goes this week but if i were in your position, i'd be holding off on that one.

Tough one actually. Maybe upgrade one back and one forward? Sylvia/Chappy are pretty underpriced at the moment as well Enright/Newman. I haven't done the figures but that's something i'd be looking at. Depends on what your focus for the year is.

Round 14 (this week): D.Swallow out for D.Nicholson
J.Darling out for C.Sylvia
Round 15 (next week): N.Duigan out for C.Newman
Round 16 (fortnight): D.Heppell out for S.Hurn

this would leave me with 5 trades remaining, which i will hopefully only use during the finals, as i am focusing on leagues. However although i think my plan is good in theory, there could be mass suspensions and injuries in the next few weeks which would stuff me up completely
