Re: Round 22 Trades

Is trading Selwood to Daisy and Mzungu to B Harvey a waste? last 2 trades.

will give me extra this week but i'll be weaker for the next most likley.

I'm in 2 leagues, made the prelim in 1. So i'm thinking of holding the 2 for next week, trading Gibbs to Enright and another Back to a premium.

So close to the end, what do do?

Depends how much you want to win the other league. See who your opponent has. I'd wait. If you trade now you'll be stuck with Gibbs in round 23 and no upgrade for backline.

Re: Round 22 Trades

Any thoughts on trades much appreciated -

BACKS - Goddard Deledio Fisher Broughton Enright Gibbs Lower
Puopolo,McKernan,Taylor

MIDS - Ablett Swan Pendles Boyd Judd Foley
Gaff,Smith,Harris

RUCKS - Cox Sandilands
Smith,Derrix

FORWARDS - Pavlich O'Keefe Goodes N.Roo Rioli Chapman Mzungu
Howe,Daulhaus,Richardson

4trades and 30 k left. No game this round so will keep Enright and Chapman. Foley needs to go but for who? Other ideas? Thanks in advance

I reckon trade down Richardson to somebody like Calinan which will give you 60k and upgrade foley to S. Thompson who at 418k is great value. Then you also have room to move if you wanted to do a sideways swap for Judd or Gibbs the next week. But I think Thompson is great value

My dilemma is whether to Sideways M.Murphy to Mitchell this week before the price goes up.

Then next week whether to upgrade Hibberd to a premium defender or Sylvia/Higgins/N. Riewoldt to Rioli for the final couple of rounds as Hawks have Doggies and GC.

In the prelim in my league, 3 trades left (one is a Z.Smith downgrade), 11k in the bank)

My team:

Gibbs, Goddard, Fisher, Delidio, Enright, Suckling, Heppell (Puopolo, Smith, Howard)

Pendlebury, Swan, Murphy, Priddis, Boyd, Ablett (I.Smith, Hibberd, Calinan)

Cox, Sandilands (Bailey, Smith)

Pavlich, Fyfe, Goodes, Franklin, Petrie, Sylvia, N. Reiwoldt (Higgins, Darling, Lynch)

Any help or other ideas much appreciated!:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Maybe ditch Zac smith to Cordy if he is named, then upgrade foley to Priddis, then work out how to get Franklin

Re: Round 22 Trades

Okay, I'm considering the following:

  • N Krak -> Rioli
  • Chapman -> Pav

Would leave me with one trade. Thoughts?

Re: Round 22 Trades

I'm playing Super Coach Pro this week.

I'm offering up Juddy & Watson. No takers.

I might as well be offering up Vlad & the Gimp!

More information? Your lineup would help. Are you going for league or overall glory? If you don't make the Chapman to Pav trade, who have you got on the bench to cover Chapman? If you have a Mzungu or Isaac Smith, is it really worth the extra 30-odd points Pavlich would be expected to produce this week to burn a trade?

Re: Round 22 Trades

My team is

Backs: Goddard, Fisher, Enright, Lower, Broughton, Deledio, Birchall (Bachelor, strauss, howard)

Mids: Gibbs, Swan, Boyd, Ablett, Fyfe, Shuey (Mzungu, Selwood, Harris)

Rucks: Cox, Petrie (Smith, Tippett)

Fwds: N Roo, Franklin, Sylvia, ROK, Goodes, Higgins, Pavlich (Priesta, Howe, Shnieder)

4 trades and $160k in bank.
Thinking of trading Enright=>Bock, and Lower=>Adcock

Anyones thoughts?

Re: Round 22 Trades

Although I'm through to the prelims I'm seriously tempted to trade Bartel this week.

He's been average all year and really bad in the last couple of weeks and right now I have just enough cash to straight swap him to Mitchell.

Do it? 3 trades left.

Re: Round 22 Trades

Should i keep Enright- got otten or stanley as cover or should i trade to Bock or Hurn
and
Gooddes wouldnt mind priddis wat do u guys think
cheers

Mitchells price will rise if he hits 65 odd, so it is all cash dependant - Mitchell has a great run home - as does Priddis, Hodge etc.
If it was me I'd do it, good luck!

Yeah I think I'll do it, 2 trades should be enough for the last couple of games. Thanks.

Re: Round 22 Trades

I need to trade out Bartel and SJ

Have no bench to cover them either.

I have 72k in the bank and was thinking about getting Scott Thompson in for Bartel and the Forward is un decided. HELP must win final or I am out and Ive got 50 bucks on it with my mate!

Re: Round 22 Trades

Puopolo -> Suckling

Average over last 5 matches:
Suckling: 88.4
Puopolo: 82.2

If I were you I'd be upgrading your 6th midfielder or 2nd ruck:
Bringing in a Dal Santo or Goldstein will make you more money than trading in Suckling (potentially 6 points).

Presuming you have some extra cash!

Re: Round 22 Trades

thompson good choice especially if opponent does not ahve him, and a forward, Cyril or ROK or Buddy

Re: Round 22 Trades

no trades for me in this well earned week off.
but taking a sneak peak ahead to the next week has me wondering if given the option, who would you ditch Scotland or Gibbs?

I've got 3 trades left and at this stage have 1 earmarked for a Z Clarke downgrade and 1 spare for a heppel upgrade in gf week (god willing of course).

Which leaves me with 1 trade to use on either Scotland or Gibbs next week.

perhaps a kind blues fan (if indeed such a beast exists?) :) can impart some inside info?
cheers

Re: Round 22 Trades

The steadier. I would keep Scotland. Has a better average and as you said doesn't do a run with role. It has been mentioned he might do a run with role against Hodge this week. But then against the Saints in the SC grand final Carazzo will most likely get the job on Dal Santo so that might free Gibbs up. Still a risk he might get Goddard though.

I have 3 trades left and the week of. I have Gibbs and Judd to cover for the prelim. My options are

Option 1: This week (This week because Swallow is set to drop. Also mentioned he might play limited game time)
Gibbs --> Enright (making about $100k)
D Swallow --> M Priddis (to cover Judd)
Next week
Cross --> Sylvia (to move forward) (possibly Harvey if Cross goes up a little and Harvey down a little)

Or

Option 2: Next Week (Gibbs covered by Talia)
Kraka --> Butcher
Swallow --> Mitchell
Grand Final week
Cross --> Chapman/Harvey (if no injuries elsewhere to move forward)

Or

Option 3: Next week (Leaving Lower to start in backline)
Gibbs --> Enright (making about $100k)
Judd --> Mitchell (Leaving Cross playing)
Grand Final week
Kraka --> Rioli

Really cant decide this one. Been thinking about it all week. Option 1 get's me best cover for Gibbs. Option 2 and 3 leave's me a trade in Grand Final week if i make it and a better forward and means i can change my plans this week if there are injuries.

Any other ideas?

I have 45,800 K in the bank, 3 trades left and i need cover for Gibbs and Judd. Also i'm playing Lower in the backline and Mzungu or Kraka in the forward line.

My Team is
Backs: Gibbs, Broughton, Deledio, Fisher, Birchall, Lower (Talia, C howard, J Strauss)

Mids: Pendlebury, Judd, Swan, Boyd, Ablett, Cross (Swallow, Prestia, Hibberd

Rucks: Cox, Mumford (Bailey, Browne)

Fwd: Pav, Fyfe, Goodes, Okeefe, Franklin, Riewoldt, Mzungu (Krak, Richardson, A Siposs)
