It has a been a tough week for the Sweet FA administration, who earlier this week went into damage control when Demons young star Oddhawk was found passed out and in possession of Cocaine out the front of Revs Nightclub in the early hours after the Mobbs Medal presentation. It was later revealed that he received a strike under the Sweet FA illicit drugs policy due to the incident, and this was later to be revealed as his third strike in 12 months and automatically led to a 10 week suspension for him.
When contacted by SweetFA Media, Gold City Royals Captain Blacky commented saying "Couldn't be prouder of the rookies. When you consider we have the best crop of S.22 rookies in the league (Thatsapaddlin, J Shuttlesworth, Bet on Blue, Dirty Bird) it's a great accomplishment. When you add that to the sheer volume of MVP votes across the best core posters in the league (Marlowe, BigJoeD_, Footypie32, Nakia) it just isn't fair."
When asked for a comment, Sweet FA administration refused to comment, however the ramifications from this will be sure to last long beyond the Grand Final on Sunday. Wait there's a Grand Final this week?
