Roys Sweet Olympic Update - Day 5

Did I not pay my transfer fee for the Olympics? Am I still a Roy?

Well you swam like a Roy in the heats finishing 3rd and 1st, but then swam like a rat and finished last in the final.

Up today I will be competing in the Artistic Gymnastics

And Ed_Gein, royboy2, Mobbs, & tigs2010 will Row for gold

Roys Sweet Olympic Update - Day 6

Artistic Gymnastics - royboy2 started out like a champion winning the qualifying, thats as good as it got as I went on to finish 13th/20 in the final

Ed_Gein, royboy2, Mobbs, & tigs2010 finished 3rd in the Qualy to make it to the Repecharge where we also finished 3rd and failed to qualify for the final.

Coming up next we have 3KZ is Football in the Trampoline and Mooch, Ed_Gein & tigs2010 in the BMX. Where tigs2010 will no doubt lead the whole way and like a true Arsenal man, he will bottle it and lose on the final jump.

Ed_Gein finished 12th/13 in the Canoeing and Phar Ace was 16th/25 in the Triathlon



Next up tigs2010 hits the pool in the 100m Freestyle

There was no final score posted for the Trampoline, but 3KZ is Football qualified for the final and finished around 5th or 6th with his score of 39.

Mooch &Ed_Gein were both extremely unlucky in their BMX heats, both tying for 3rd and missing out via countback.
Naturally tigs2010 finished dead last in his heat, failing to fire a shot (you can see how well I've taken his departure from the Roys)

Tonight Mooch competes in the High Jump & Ed_Gein in the Archery. Once they have finished that Mooch & Ed_Gein will join royboy2 in the Cycling Road race

Well that sucked. It very nearly didn't but then it big fat sucked anyway. SpecialBruce and royboy2 ran the show for long periods in the game, and TheGoatBaron took his tally to 10 goals in 2 games with a sixer here. Dicky Fitzwell and fitzroybowiedog snagged 3 each and _Mike_ got a deuce. windyhill got plenty of the ball and laid three tackles too, while DERRINALPHIL dominated in the ruck.

Roys Sweet Olympic Update - Day 8

Apologies for not doing this the last couple of days, have local footy commitments on Saturday and drove 3.5 hours to marvel and 3.5 hours home on Sunday to watch the Lions destroy the Saints on Sunday.

Mooch cleared a height of 2.33m in the High Jump which left him in 20th Place
Ed_Gein won his 1st knockout game but was eliminated in the 2nd round of the Archery.
As for the road race, we were never really in it finishing Mooch 48th Ed_Gein 20th & royboy2 23rd respectively

Roys Sweet Olympic Update - Day 9

Day 9 started with the golf where Phar Ace finished 15th with 19+ and royboy2 was 11th on 13+

From there Mobbs & Ed_Gein represented us in the Table Tennis, winning their first round and then being eliminated in the 2nd.

Last event on Day 9 was Tennis, where JackNah_8 & tigs2010 carried our hopes, only to both be eliminated in the 1st round

Roys Sweet Olympic Update - Day 10

Yes today was the day we struck bronze, 3KZ is Football finished in the top 6 of qualifying and fought through 7 rounds of elimination to finish 3rd.

Next up was the Equestrian where JackNah_8 was eliminated on the 1st run and Mooch on the 2nd run.

Lastly on day 10 was the 3x3 basketball and our competitors were Phar Ace, JackNah_8 & tigs2010. Naturally the brilliance of Phar Ace & JackNah_8 could only carry us so far and we won 2 and lost 4 games, leaving us 5th in the group.

Good to see we are now on the Medal Tally board.


Next up 3KZ is Football goes Sailing, Ed_Gein, royboy2, Mooch & TheGoatBaron will compete in the Team Pursuit on the cycling track while Mobbs & Mooch will also be in the Long Jump
