Round 12 brought us Gumbies - and lots of them. Gumbies are a warm favourite at the Roys, with fan favourites such as Rodney Dangerfield , Barrybran and multiple Barrels winner StFly. And so it proved in the match thread, with votes received for living legend beez , returning gun Taylor , Captain Extraordinaire Barrybran for the coveted best opposition poster award.

But it was a relative newcomer this week, GWS Goose who streaked away (see what I did there !!!) with the voting to win their first Barrels award.

Congratulations - may the Gumbies streak continue and allow beez the last laugh this season.....

In some match threads, rivalries form and people face off - until there can only be one winner, as decided by the Sim.....



In the Round 13 Match thread, there could only be one winner for the coveted Barrels award.

As the votes were read out, it became clear that one man mouse something - had run around assassinating all opposition, so he could claim the ultimate prize....



That something - was Chipmunk !! Congratulations - you might need help to carry this away, or at the very least you can possible just drill a small hole in it....

The League is in the early stages of Awards season. As a result, I need 5 volunteers (I'm one - so I need 4 more) to provide votes for the Beez award. This is the top 20 posters, for both match thread and media for the leauge. It's like the Barrels, but not quite as prestigious.

If people are willing to provide their top 20 based upon their experiences this year - please let me know in the Group discussion thread - this way it will remain confidential to those outside the club.

In addition, we also need volunteers for the Mobbs medal write up - where you provide a description of each of one Rounds 6 games, in a format provided. If anyone is interested in contributing - and I can provide links to previous awards for guidance, please let me know.

The Beez is nothing compared to the Barrels.
The Barrels are easily the most prestigious posting award in Sweet FA.

Unfortunately, the Bears discovered that the fame of being signed for the Hawks got to this chipmunk's head, a few too many cocktails in Las Vegas and then joining them at the Raffles Singapore for International Round and I was on the floor.
