To add to the Fevola rumour, he played for Yarra on the weekend despite carrying the injury. If he was promised a contract next year with Collingwood I am not sure that he/they would want to risk making this injury any worse.

Even if the Pies were keen on Fev I don't think they would force him to forfeit his spot in last weeks second semi final or his next game which is the Grand Final. I think theyd understand that Yarrawonga has made a huge investment in him and deserve to have Fev there to help them win the flag.

IMHO I think Fevola playing on the weekend was just Fev being Fev and attempting to help out his team, his mates and hopefully get them deeper into the finals. I would however like to see him get back up at AFL level, play out a season and retire on his own terms. Yes he has made mistakes and ruined more a few chances it would be a nice story for him to play out a final year and be able to walk away.

As for the Cloke rumours, there have been a couple of posts on the Carlton rumour thread that some people 'close to the Cloke family' have indicated that they may be heading to Perth.

A good friend of mines parents are best friends with Swanny's parents.

The only sticking point all along was leveraging Smally into an overseeing position with a major lucerne dealer as a sweetener.
On a side note Smally reckons Trav would never have joined that grey haired old arsehat at Cartoon no matter how many third party scam cap rorts they offered him.
