Club officials and medios should hang their heads in shame. They should've accepted that the impact severely impacted the wellbeing of the players at the time and that protocol should have been adhered to.

All this to prevent a Showdown blowout to protect their asses. What about the well-being of our players?

You’d have to be kidding yourself if you don’t think there are other examples just as bad that’ve been glossed over.

Yeah we ****ed up but it’s been blown up by the media and general public.

The skeptic in me thinks this wouldn’t have been as big of a story if we weren’t second on the ladder and it wasn’t one of our most critical players.

Forgive the opposition fan intrusion, but just passing along this video from Footy Classified tonight that does a decent job summing up the history.

I hate Footy Classified + Hutchy and Caro, but they did provide good background on this issue so it's worth the watch.

Kane looking like a complete buffoon with his good clubs look after good people line.

The player's health and well being comes first above everything else. Could not give two shits how many people Dr. Fisher has helped in his time as Club doctor. He can no longer be trusted to ensure that the player's welfare is top priority.

What's different in the way the doctor handled this incident to the one between Jonas and Butters?

he didnt have a test because the doc is a certified piss blaster.

No I missed parts of the game and so finding it hard to put the details together.

1. big sickening head clash between jones and aliir, both looked to be flash ko'd in mid air, but conscious after hitting the deck
2. both stayed down for a while as trainers attended
3. both taken from the field
4. both sit on the bench for a while, after 7 minutes aliir is back on the field
5. jones sits there on our bench while the sub (boak) doesn't warm up
6. half time happens
7. jones is subbed out and boak comes on after half time
