So neither are still failing a concussion test?

So basically the only thing we are guilty of is not performing the proper test on Allir straight after the incident.

A part from that it’s just the afl swinging it’s dick because the optics weren’t good and the media and public outrage phenomenon is in full swing.

And as far as I’m concerned we did absolutely nothing wrong with Lachie Jones.

Port Adelaide is set to cop a “significant fine” from the AFL, according to Herald Sun reporter Jon Ralph, amid fierce reaction from the football community over the post-collision treatment of Aliir Aliir and Lachie Jones.

And while there are calls for the sanction to be in excess of $100,000, dual premiership Kangaroo David King believes clubs that breach concussion protocols should also be punished with suspended premiership points or draft picks.

Premiership points or draft picks lol this pile on is getting out of hand, and why do they keep mentioning lachie jones? He didn’t go back on.

1985 mate, try 2007 I spent most of that year concussed and everyone knew it. And I don't have PERMENENT BRAIN DAMAGE.
I dunno, you do like AC/DC a lot.

Club clearly tried to massage his diagnosis in order to get him cleared for this week.

I like the bit where our owner fines us (fines themselves?) $100k which just makes us $100k broker and behind the scenes we probably just ask for an extra $100k AFL dole money next year to even up the books. Pure optics.

Oh well, if David King thinks so….

What were the first ‘three or four’ incidents? Be specific.
Butters and Jonas head clash
Hartlett elbow to head in marking contest
Wines this year head into ground

There's another one with Boak that I cannot recall the details on.

And now this one.

To be clear, I'm not saying the above incidents needed to result in confirmed concussion results, but we need to follow protocol and at least assess them properly.

Its unprofessional, not good enough and highly risky.

If people love the Port Adelaide Football Club they need to think more strategically and of the risk that this doctor is creating for our future. Its the sort of thing that could one day put the club in serious legal trouble.

Bickley wants us to lose the ANZAC fixture.. no agenda there lol

Given a human has a metal plate in his face due to his gutless thuggery, i’d say Bickley should **** off

Sure. And leave it at that. The Hysteria generated is disproportionate. Nothing actually happened. Has Aliir even got concussion? A failure in process.

Nah but according to the words of CD yesterday they both still had their headaches.

Piss poor optics from a loser club.

Next man up.

I think the only appropriate course of action is to sack anyone involved with the club who doesn't have a contract for next year.

* Checks that Trent McKenzie has a contract for next year *

Yep, this is the way forward I think.

Your doctor is incompetent and to punish you we will pay you less out of the salary pool you need to hire a competent doctor.

There's a time and a place for your old school hard arse tough guy act.

This isn't one of them.
Who says? You? Bravey? The Tuck Shop Ladies? The outrage brigade? FFS this is not like the old days where players got repeated concussions. This is at worst a failure in process. Nothing more. The club has way worse issues than this, namely the fukwits running it. The Doctor will probably get the arse and the club a fine. Calls for points losses and other stuff being taken away from us, some by our so called supporters, is heckin'g bonkers. Outside the crappy football media like SEN who have to fill content and Raptalia's favourite publication, this is barely a story. Pant Pissers gonna pant piss I guess, but perspective is a valuable commodity.

nice deflection
If you're going to come in here and genuinely discuss the issue feel free, but if you're going to post Bay 13 crap like this, all you're doing is proving the point of the poster you quoted.

It's not a 'single' error. It's at least the third time he's made such an error, and that's just the ones that we in the general public know about.
Makes you wonder what happens with a potential head knock at training if this obvious one with a national spotlight was treated this way.
