Thanks, always good to have data back up what the eyes are seeing. I am a bit surprised about 2014, it felt like that year we would lower the eyes and hit the leading player (Schulz) alot more. I thought it was 2015 when we got Ryder that we changed to this repeat entries deep to the pocket crap to keep it locked in and get stoppages that we still continue to this day (despite irrefutable evidence it it hasn't worked, it doesn't work and it won't work).

In 2014 Schultz and Wingard made our forward 50 entries look workable by taking ridiculous marks, with Gray doing his magic when having forward stints.

Plus our mids actually kicked goals and often from outside 50. Think Polec, Boak, and even Broadbent and Matt White.

We kicked goals in spite of our set up not because of it.

Ok. Spoke to a guy last night who I know very well and would call a mate. Recently he was in the company of an individual who is connected to the brother of a recently retired Port player. Story goes that regarding the co-captain issue is that Stinkley only wanted one of the two as captain but the team primarily wanted the other. The compromise being co-captains. My point being, that not only has Stinkley and co ruined our club, his apparent selfishness also ruined a club long tradition of a single captain. Just another ruination under his watch. Apologies if they have previously been posted, nothing earth shattering but another piece of the puzzle which has upset many of us.

I think we all knew that already. Wines had just done his stupid water skiing injury and should never have been in the captaincy conversation. But daddy just had to have his way.

This was definitely discussed at the time.

Hinkley wanted Wines as captain, the playing group wanted Jonas.

I dont think its his selfishness thats the issue, its his lack of balls. If he thought Wines would have got us to a flag he should have just made the call as senior coach and the players can get behind it or **** off.
