Kane on Rutten, a coach in his second season with a 2-7 record: "I don't think he can survive too many more performances like that"
Kane on Hinkley, a coach in his tenth season with a 0-5 record: "It's disrespectful to criticise him"
Such a joke...

I couldn't read the rest of your post with a straight face after reading this bit. "with his Ken-scented dildo" lol.Even Kane said in the off-season that it was effectively Grand Final or bust for Hinkley at this club.
But now he’s once again attempting to bludgeon diehards — who’ve lived through nigh-on two decades of heartbreak, disappointment and humiliation — with his Ken-scented dildo for expecting more than the usual slop he serves up whenever hopes and expectation are raised.
Admittedly I have been quiet over the past two weeks, but it’s because I’ve barely watched a half of Port footy in that time. Attended a birthday dinner the night of the Doggies game, and then watched NBA and pottered around the house with the Roos game on in the background afterward.
And you know what? It was wonderful.
Those crickets Kane hears are apathy and disengagement due to Koch/Hinkley/Failure-fatigue and the overdue realisation that the status quo is parasitic cosplay at best.
But nah, well-in Graham Junior, mould it into an epic vindication of your sycophantic stance.
Someone in the media surely has to call Cornes out on national tv.How dare Kane be so disrespectful to Ben Rutten. Kane is truly a hater. Essendon supporters just need to be realistic and lower their expectations. They're not in the VFL anymore.
Kornes SEN breaky: It's been an incredible coaching performance from Ken to turn it around, those Port fans that wanted him sacked have gone incredibly quiet.
Matthew Lloyd. If he thinks Luke Parker was being disrespectful to the Essendon players he's got nothing on Kornes here.Someone in the media surely has to call Cornes out on national tv.
The guy is a joke and his media mates are just as bad for not correcting him.
Lloyd could be the one to do it, he seems like a reasonable person with ample footy knowledge.Matthew Lloyd. If he thinks Luke Parker was being disrespectful to the Essendon players he's got nothing on Kornes here.

Yes but its a 2022 article (pre-season, be4 0-5) ...using the 2013 article.

'The three-quarter time address stamped Hinkley as a country football coaching mastermind.
Even though a decade has passed, it provides an insight into the motivating qualities of a man who is leading the resurgence of the Port Adelaide Football Club.'
Country football coaching mastermind ffs, he coached them to what, two flags? FMD Some SANFL scrubbers probably have achieved more in amateur footy coaching.
No way Ken Hinkley ever gets in to the AFL coaching system if he wanted buddies with Blight.
As Oscar Wilde said "the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about".Kane doesn't care if he's getting good attention or bad attention so long as he's being talked about
The other day he (she?) was talking about being at the 50th anniversary of Boston Football Club in Port Lincoln (where he/she saw the Wakelins and Martin Leslie) - which may or may not be true - but it's a fairly random comment to make to try and put someone off the scent of being a troll (I'm probably one of the few on here who hasn't got them on ignore).tHUndeRpaNTs?
click$ click$$ click$$$ thats Kanes game.As Oscar Wilde said "the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about".
Incoming call from 'Kenny' before he finished the sentence I reckon.Kane predicts "coaching carnage" at end of season. 5 or 6 could go.
Cornes predicts “coaching carnage” at season’s end
Could significant changes be on the horizon?www.sen.com.au
"Port Adelaide, I wouldn’t be surprised if they move on from Ken Hinkley at the end of the year."
Port Adelaide coaches over the last 40 years:Us getting lumped in with the wider Fruchoctopian ‘Kic-a-Vic’ xenophobia is one of my pet peeves.
Just after Primus pulled up stumps Sellers McClure suggested we hire Mark Bickley because “they hate Victorians over there”.
It’s like the altiverse.
It’s worse than what you say. World record for most VFL/AFL games coached without making a Grand Final.Port Adelaide coaches over the last 40 years:
Russell Ebert (1983-1987): club legend and best player to ever play for the PAFC. Sacked after making finals (including a GF) 3 years out of 5 but not winning a flag.
John Cahill (1988-1998): legendary coach who delivered 10 SANFL premierships and led the team successfully onto the national stage. Moved on after 2 years of competitive performances upon entering the AFL in favour of Mark Williams as part of a succession plan.
Mark Williams (1999-2010): scion of a legendary PAFC dynasty who delivered the club's only AFL premiership. Sacked 3 years after making a GF.
Matt Primus (2010-2012): inspirational PAFC captain and heart and soul of the club. Sacked after 3 years while trying to rebuild the club off the smell of an oily rag.
Ken Hinkley (2013-): winner of a couple of bush league flags and assistant coach at AFL powerhouse GCS. Still at the helm after 10 years of extraordinary support through a fully funded football department, and yet is about the break the world record for most AFL games coached without winning a flag.

Yep, edited. It’s worse than what you say. World record for most VFL/AFL games coached without making a Grand Final.
Yes, our pain in the arse senior coach is a Grand Final virgin.
