How dare Kane be so disrespectful to Ben Rutten. Kane is truly a hater. Essendon supporters just need to be realistic and lower their expectations. They're not in the VFL anymore.
Kane is just trying to get as many other coaches sacked so that his mate will have plenty of options when he gets the boot.

Nobody will call him out because nobody cares about Port in the media. Hinkley Amber Heard's it to 0-5 and the rhetoric isn't 'what's wrong with the coaching?', oh no, its they have 3 players from their first 22 out and nobody can name them. Then all of a sudden we string 4 wins together against 2 Fitzroys and a Footscray 2nds and he's like the second coming of Christ because heaven forbid there should be any expectation of Port to achieve anything. Our literal purpose in this league is to prop up the VFL coffers via TV rights and that's as far as it extends.

Country football coaching mastermind ffs, he coached them to what, two flags? FMD Some SANFL scrubbers probably have achieved more in amateur footy coaching.
No way Ken Hinkley ever gets in to the AFL coaching system if he wanted buddies with Blight.

The other day he (she?) was talking about being at the 50th anniversary of Boston Football Club in Port Lincoln (where he/she saw the Wakelins and Martin Leslie) - which may or may not be true - but it's a fairly random comment to make to try and put someone off the scent of being a troll (I'm probably one of the few on here who hasn't got them on ignore).

Kane corners tries to create as much manufactured outrage as he can to drive calls and listeners to his breakfast show with about 1000 listeners at best. Yet here you all are pointing out his ridiculous positions which are deliberate ones to stoke engagement. Do we 99.9% of Adelaide does and just ignore him, he is irrelevant.

I'm pretty sure ken won't allow himself to get sacked, he has enough moles in the club to know exactly what's going on at board level. If he sees the writing on the wall he'll beat them to the punch and quit saying he felt the time was right. Making it appear it was his decision with cred it tact and the ability to walk straight to another club fir who ever is stupid enough to consider him. The club could call his bluff leaking they are going to sack him to see the level of character he has, to see if he's man enough to face the music. He'll be off the boat like a rat on a sinking ship. They just don't get that the guy is a narcissist.
Port Adelaide coaches over the last 40 years:
Russell Ebert (1983-1987): club legend and best player to ever play for the PAFC. Sacked after making finals (including a GF) 3 years out of 5 but not winning a flag.
John Cahill (1988-1998): legendary coach who delivered 10 SANFL premierships and led the team successfully onto the national stage. Moved on after 2 years of competitive performances upon entering the AFL in favour of Mark Williams as part of a succession plan.
Mark Williams (1999-2010): scion of a legendary PAFC dynasty who delivered the club's only AFL premiership. Sacked 3 years after making a GF.
Matt Primus (2010-2012): inspirational PAFC captain and heart and soul of the club. Sacked after 3 years while trying to rebuild the club off the smell of an oily rag.
Ken Hinkley (2013-): winner of a couple of bush league flags and assistant coach at AFL powerhouse GCS. Still at the helm after 10 years of extraordinary support through a fully funded football department, and yet is about the break the world record for most AFL games coached without making a GF.
