Kornes SEN breaky: It's been an incredible coaching performance from Ken to turn it around, those Port fans that wanted him sacked have gone incredibly quiet.
lol, who's gone quiet you dipstick Kane?

We struggled for two quarters against an undermanned rebuilding North Melbourne.

Sack superhero Kenny Hinkley.

Probably the biggest issue is that the last 4.5 (second half vs Carlton) games have been good. We should be humbly getting on with it and continuing to try to make things right, while knowing there is still a long way to go to make amends for the shocking start. We are taking our first steps back in the right direction, but until we beat the Cats and Swans its meaningless.

Instead we get "Righto 4-5 job done! Where are the haters? We're the best side now!"

Its this constant going early that makes us a perennially unsuccessful laughing stock.

How good would it be if we went for the three 'no no's' of coaching appointments!

Failed coach to Director of Football
Co-coaching
Succession plan!

Sticking with Marshall, Georgiadis, Finlaysons because Dixon and Fantasia are still injured.
Playing Rozee in the middle because we now had a functioning forward line.
Playing Hayes because Lycett was injured.
Powell-Pepper's career best form (which he has given huge credit to Voss).
Farrell returning from long term injury.
Aliir regaining form from his Round 1 foot injury.

Most of the things that changed/clicked were outside of Hinkley's control.
I'm sure there are other examples too.
A perfect storm of forced changes has for once worked in the team's favour.

You could argue that the team has turned things around in spite of old mate's coaching.

Imagine coming into a season telling everyone you're going to win the flag, proceeding to lose your first 5, then ending up 4-5 including 2 wins against 17th and 18th who both have percentages in the low 50s and a win in a tropical splash pool where you only needed 5 goals to win ... and somehow being called a superhero for your efforts.

F*** off Kane.

I don't hate Hinkley. I just think that someone needs to take responsibility for ongoing lack of ultimate success.

And the buck stops with him....

You can have the players love you. You can have reasonable crowds , reasonable results , make a profit but if you don't produce the ultimate result .... After ten years .

You are gone.
