Roast Sack Koch - Chairman of The Redeem Team

My mate copping a barrage of abuse from our fans and comments along the lines of "go supprt the crows" after voicing his displeasure after the Geelong loss in finals says it all really. Mindless turds.
El Scorcho knows all about that too with his Sack Hinkley sign years ago. What about the fan with the Hinkley face at the G. Must have been related in some way or they were paid to hold it up.

He wants a flag.

Wanting a flag, and doing everything possible to win a flag are two very different things.

The reality is the want shown by David and the leaders in charge does not match the reality of the necessary actions required by said leaders to win a flag.

The Club have done a ton right off-field but the footy department is a massive blind spot. Some of the leaders per se wouldn't know what on-field success looked like even if it smashed them over the head with a premiership cup.

Well it's time we targeted him publicly at the AGM

Doubt it'll make any difference in the world but it'll certainly make for an entertaining evening.

This is an unfortunate reality - definitely going to be Cos.
Any particular reason why he's more likely than Restas who's the current deputy? Especially since Restas has only been deputy for two years. I'd assume Osborn wouldn't be stepping up seeing as he was the former deputy, but I just would've assumed Cardone would be the deputy right now if he's going to be the successor to Koch.

Koch's comment about Port beating Sydney had they played like they did in the GF is actually very bizarre
Definitely.

It shows a complete and utter ignorance that we were basically beaten through gameplan and strong, veteran bodies.

IIRC, he almost said it in an exasperated way like why can't we just get a bit of luck in finals.

It belies his real attitude with Hinkley at the helm and that he doesn't really think Kenny can coach us to a flag.

In the end, it shows you how bad of a Chairman he is because the club should know in finals you are going to have to win 3 very tough games against 3 tough oppositions who are fully loaded to play and you need everyone in sync especially the coach.

The sad thing is that's exactly what the club is built on. Dedication to tough, finals wins.

David tries to give off an air of success but maybe it is just nepotism and a bit of luck. And as we know, nepotism really makes you pretty darned lucky. But in competitive sports, if you are relying on luck, especially with a game like football, you are already way on the back foot.

Do you have an opinion on cos?

Because from the outside.... It's not good.

My personal opinion on Cos is that it seems incredulous and is almost to the point of hypocrisy that someone who has such strong ties to the Collingwood Football Club and whose actions have previously hindered the PAFC, is on our Club's Board of Directors.

I am not exactly privy to what he offers in terms of connections with AFL House and what not, but his spot on our Club's Board doesn't sit well with me one bit.
