We've never seen him play pure mid for us. He did play in there a few times last year but as a tagger, never had more than 20 touches in that role. Would be a stretch to hope for a big game from him but hey we'll be happy.

Bailey Smith out after Ross specifically mentioned him. A 1 week calf soreness. Just feels like Scott is playing games to throw the Saints prep. Geelong aren’t in any real danger- they’re just trying to avoid of the last match against the Saints at Marvel.

Miers is the forward I would be putting work into. He sets up so many of their scoring chances and just seems to fly under the radar opposition wise. Either way we need our midfield to turn up and win their contests, I am worried Marshall will still be a little under done but a half paced Marshall still gets to more contests than most.
