Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

Any thoughts on my possible trades?

Option 1
Clark --> Kruezer
Tippett --> Dangerfield
This leaves me with about 180k for future trades.

Option 2
Clark --> Kruezer
Warren --> Dangerfield
Leaving me only 10k left over

Option 3
Clark --> Seaby/Naitanui
Tippett --> ROK

I'm leaning towards option 1, I can downgrade Warren the week after and then have a lot of money to upgrade.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks :thumbsu:

I would say do not trade. But if you are to trade, Option 3 as yo uare getting in a keeper for the year ROK and a potential keeper.

Ideally you want to get in two keepers for the year, otherwise you will have to do another upgrade later on which could be seen as a waste of a trade.

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

probably just Clark --> Sandilands for now as my first trade.
Please dont ask why I didnt start with Sandi if I had the cash spare..

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

Option 1: Kennely to Silvagni (Put Maguire on field)
Tippet to Brown

Option 2: Mitch Farmer to Silvagni
Tippet to Brown

I have Goodwin who is under a cloud so am leaning at Option 2, but option 1 will leave me with $250k in bank for future upgrades, which i will need, as i have Hall, Hille and Ball struggling haha ...
any thoughts?

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

I am in the Tippet boat. Still deciding if it is worth keeping him. Currently he is in a Ruck Position, i was considering a downgrade to Seaby or NicNat.

NicNat is see more promise in, potential to become a keeper.
Seaby i am fairly confident i would want to trade out at the end of the season.

So i am leaning towards NicNat.

This would free up some cash to jump on the Brown Bandwagon...

So my Trades would be:
-----------------------
Tippet > NicNat
Hall > J.Brown

Current
Rucks: Sandi, Tippet,Warnock,Trengrove
Forwards:Roo,ROK,Higgens,Hall,Hitchcock,Ziebal,Danger,Gumby,R.Roberts
Thoughts?

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

50k to play with any ideas?

What would people say about Hille to Seaby then possibly a forward that isn't performing (Hall, lol) to maybe Brown or O'Keefe. Or do you think wait til later in the year to get these guys in?

My only concerns in my entire team as well, Hille and Hall basically, Pav hasn't done much either.

not sure if nicnat is going to be a keeper... maybe get Kruzer and ur rucks will be set for the rest of the year

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

(above) mate get on barlow now! He will have the bigges price rise. Drop cunnington save yourself some cash and get the best cash cow in the land right now

my dilemma is that I have hille, hall and b. Harvey
i know all of them could probably improve but here are my trade ideas

2 trades
out hille in seaby
out Harvey in brown

1 trade
out hall in dangerfield/ballantyne

what are your thoughts guys

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

Yeah get on brown and dangerfield i reckon, J brown 170 :D...

Anyways i have 2 non scoring players, what would you guys do ?

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

I was toying with that idea. That cleans out my kitty (in upgrading to j.Brown aswell).

I liked having a 100k security blanket for my next upgrade. But then again Kreuz is looking solid.

Bigbook - your team is hard to read, maybe spend a little time and reformat your post so it is easier for people to give you some advice? At a glance your forward line looks like it has a hole in it.

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

Why are people considering trading Hall for Dangerfield/Ballantyne? It's not worth it because I doubt Danger can keep a 95 average (if he does, then everyone would be surprised). It's sideways trading, and it's unwarranted.

When Hall kicks that bag of 6 we are all holding out for, you guys will be spewing.

When barry hall kicks a bag.... When will he do this??? yes he did it in NAB cup when teams are experamenting with diffrent players.. FFS he couldnt score one against richmond RICHMOND of all teams. He scored big against hawks back line with gibson who IMO is overated (yes have a go at me i dont care) and shuey at CHB who is in his 2nd season, Played a great game against port i will admit that young backs but very talented, and the saints who lost there free man in Fisher who probebly doubled teamed with the weaker zac dawson. Didnt score well against collingwood who doubled teamed hi with presti and others and then richmond did the same doubled teamed him... I think teams have figured him out already and things more than likely wont get better. And to top it of his anger issues.... If we're getting frustrated with him imagine how he is its only a matter of time IMO and i think after those two displays now is the time to downgrade or upgrade him

Anyway thats just my 2c ;)

I didnt get Hall from the start because I think its pretty obvious he relies on getting 5-6 goals to get near 100. That's only gonna happen 1 in 3 or 4 weeks IMO. Similar story with other forwards but Hall is never gonna be put up through the midfield like others available in his price range...

Saying that, if I had started with Hall then I wouldn't be sideways trading him out so early. Waste!

They didn't experiment in the final :)

And he did kick one against Richmond :D

Gibson isn't the greatest KPD, I understand. But he still kicked 6 goals was it? That's impressive against anyone I'd think. And guess who's up next for the Bulldogs?

I think that the WB forward line has too many stars in to double team Hall for long. You have Aker, Jonno, Murphy and Gia running around, among others. You let them run free, they will tear it up.

I think that persistance is the key with Hall. You can off him, but I'll stick with the man.

The man is smart, smart enough to realise that his life is on the line. He cracks, he's gone. He was frustrated at Sydney. If WB give him the delivery he deserves and they keep winning, I see no reason for him to snap.

I'm going to keep him, if he turns out to be a spud, so be it.

Who are you considering to trade to?

Fair enough. If he kicks 3 or 4 a week, he should be able to pull on 80's, and I'd be happy with that from a 34 year old that I paid a bit over 365k on. He's obviously a risk, but he'll repay me enough to validate picking him. If I were a betting man, I'd say Hally could finish 2nd to 4th come end of year (as a Sainta, Rooey's my tip, followed by Franklin/Brown/Hall), so quite a few bags seem realistic to me.

Saying that, if I had started with Hall then I wouldn't be sideways trading him out so early. Waste

This :thumbsu:

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

I lay in bed before going to sleep the other night and relised that i got sucked into getting a 33 year old player with anger-managment issues who was basically fired by the swans....

How did i get sucked into that!!! bahaha

saying that, im not jumping off yet. as pointed out he faces the hawks ( who he kicked 6 n got 108 sc points a think?) next and KPP are always yo-yo like in there scores

back him for a few more weeks i reckon :)

BBBBB Hall :D

Half of the Supercoach population did :) and I'm happy to be known as one of them.

I can't believe that Sydney actually got something for him (Pick 47 or something) but then again, chances are that he may not have ended up at WB through the draft (then again, who wants an old, angry FF? Besides Syd... oh wait).

He'll have his days.

You will Hall be regretting it when he kicks those goals and you waste your trades.

Did you see what I did there? Pretty Goodes, eh?

Look, I did it again. What a genius...

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

Hey guys i hope we are all loving having SC back, even with all the trade
dilemma's lol

Now i am not one to trade this early in a season, but i am worried about having Tippet as my premium ruck. I am thinking of a straight swap of Tippet to Kruezer, but i feel thats a bit sideways even thought krooze is playing well albeit its on 2 games in

My option B is i was thinking trading Hunt to Silvagni and then Tippet to Sandilands, but again do i really want to waste 2 trades in rd2? and with Hunt scoring well i will make money on him if i keep him, but with Tippets B/E of 171 after this rd he will drop to the 320k mark and i feel i will be stuck with him all year then.
Would really love your input guys, oh and my team looks like this if it might help with your answer.

BACKS- Goddard,Enright,Hodge,H.Shaw,Malceski,J.Hunt,Waters EMG (Maguire,Nason)

MIDS- Ablett,Pendlebury,Mitchell,Ball,martin,barlow EMG (Banner,Bastinac)

RUCKS- Tippet, NicNat EMG (Warnock,Grimley)

FWDS- Riewoldt,O'Keefe,Franklin,Harvey,R.Murphy,Hall,Hitchcock EMG (Gumbleton, Rockliff)

Thanks again and sorry about the long post ;)

You still think he is a cash cow?

He is nothing but a keeper.

Haha nice work mate.

Don't worry im backing bazza to come good... well decent..

When i got him i was only hoping for him to rise to about 430k-ish price so i could get on a under-priced gun *cough*boomer harvey*cough* but probably wont get high enough to make that a straight swap but still you know what im getting at haha

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

Should i go jolly to sandi??? Ranked quite high so i wanna keep it up

Do it.

Sandi is the best ruckman in the AFL, Sc and dt by a counrty mile.

Jolly just hasn't fitted in yet and may come good but Sandi is a downright gun.

If I was you i would pull the trigger and do it mate
