Yeah. Sadly the politics of this means that anything the Opposition says or does in response to this nothing policy will lead to a question of 'what would you do' and lead to the same old scaremongering about lost jobs etc.

Polling shows the public know that Labor is far more likely to deliver policies that will will address climate change reform. But polling also shows that there is a fear that Labor could be captured by radical interests that goes too far and cost jobs and raised taxes.

It is a bit of a tightrope the Opposition is walking in the lead up to the next election and you get the sense that this is a bit of a trap that Morrison is hoping Albanese will walk into.
