With their up to date and modern approach to technology Scott will be asking for the fax number to send it to before he arrives in Glasgow.Would love to see the look on the faces of the Glasgow Climate Change Summit Secretariat when Australia's detailed Grand Plan for reducing emissions to zero by 2050 is sent through....all 2.8 kb of it.
Good that ScoMo has bolded the important bits though

Ball is in Chalmers court now.Yep. Look we can all have fun with this vacuous sh*te that was dished up today by our Prime Minister. It is a friggin disgrace that deserves to be mocked and ridiculed. Given the politics of the mob he has commissioned to do the modelling work I expect more comedy gold when that is released.
But when the laughter settles down I am looking forward to some hard nosed criticism of this plan from the Opposition that spells out in detail what it means for future generations for climate change to be treated with such contempt by this government.

Albo said today that they'll wait until AFTER Glasgow before they announce anything.
Freedom boy Tim Wilson is already talking up the great climate policies of the LNP opposed to the Labor plan to just raise taxes to fix it.Yeah. Sadly the politics of this means that anything the Opposition says or does in response to this nothing policy will lead to a question of 'what would you do' and lead to the same old scaremongering about lost jobs etc.
Polling shows the public know that Labor is far more likely to deliver policies that will will address climate change reform. But polling also shows that there is a fear that Labor could be captured by radical interests that goes too far and cost jobs and raised taxes.
It is a bit of a tightrope the Opposition is walking in the lead up to the next election and you get the sense that this is a bit of a trap that Morrison is hoping Albanese will walk into.
Virtue signalling to the part of their constituency that gazed enviously at Trump's America.FMD is it too much to ask that once, just once, a Conservative* government seeks to get elected purely on the strength of its policies and its track record of administrative competence?

Some people will buy it as well ffs
Almost. Can you do that to the tune of Mickey by Toni Basil?

Climate plan. Lisa needs braces. Climate plan. Lisa needs braces."We've got a plan. A plan. A plan to fight climate. Yes! A plan. We have a climate plan. We've got a plan. Plan. Climate plan."
Its just so embarrassing. We are going to be the laughing stock of the world.Would love to see the look on the faces of the Glasgow Climate Change Summit Secretariat when Australia's detailed Grand Plan for reducing emissions to zero by 2050 is sent through....all 2.8 kb of it.

And note the clever shift in text colour of the 'principles' from coal black to sky blue - our marketing genius at work again. Sadly it seems he didn't have time to cut and paste some images of baby koalas from his Word 2000 clip art program.
