Welcome to the Season 37 Beez Trophy.

This is the countdown of the top 20 posters in the Sweet FA for Season 37. This will be the 19th Beez Trophy, recognising the best posters and contributors on the Sweet FA board throughout the course of the season as voted on by peers. The award was started in Season 15 and was first won by beez. It was not awarded in Season 16 or Seasons 19-21 before being revived by Hate in S22.

As was the case last season, the invitational voting system is designed to reward and encourage consistent engagement across the league over the entire course of the season. With the advice of the Committee representatives, up to 5 posters from each of the 13 clubs were sent invitations to produce a list of their top 20 posters in the league for Season 37. Self-voting was not permitted.

This season, we had 60/63 send votes for the Beez Trophy.

Posters who were ranked 1 on a list were allocated 40 votes, 2 were allocated 37 and the votes decreased by 2 per rank until the 20th ranked poster is allocated 1 vote.

In addition to the usual top 20 count we will be introducing 3 bonus awards that were voted on this season by the Committee.

• Best Club to Post Against in Match Threads
• Best Thread of the Season (Non-Match threads)

There is no poster that had a bigger impact on the league's operation this season than, ClarkeM, and he has been ranked highly in the beez voting in recognition for this. In fact, this is the first time since season 30 that he has been named in the top 20 posters in the league.

ClarkeM's impact ranged from creating the season's fixture to stepping in as administrator, organising the league's award season, and managing the general operation of qootball. On top of this he was a constant presence in match threads as an ever controversial figure and even dipped his toes in the media landscape across the season.

Pugsley (BOM)

Over the years in Sweet there have been several rather "defined" eras of the Baghdad Bombers, with the likes of beez, HaroLad, KohPhi, Tony Lynn 15, WaynesWorld19 and BLUEALLTHRU all leaving their mark whilst holding the reigns of the club. We can now safely say that we are well and truly in the Pugsley Era of Baghdad, as everybody's favourite pug molds the club in his image.

Up until this very moment, the guy formerly known as WFL had never placed in the Top 20 of the beez, as he had done a superb job of being just as irritating to his peers as the fleas that infest his shaggy coat. However with time has come maturity in his posting and a panache for winning over people's hearts with his self-depreciating sense of humour. He may be disappointed to realise this, but he now has more friends than enemies in the league.

Never one to be afraid to drop a media piece to voice his opinion, Pugsley continues to win hearts and minds whilst always serving the interests of his precious Bombers. Well done mate!

Next week will be a battle for the ages, with the Ophidian Old Boys taking on the Sin City Swamprats. The old pug is endeared to both teams and can't sit on the fence as he may fall off. Both teams are lead beautifully but I just feel momentum is with the Old Boys. My tip is the Old Boys by 21...

DemurePrincess was a constant and engaging presence across the league in season 37 after moving to the Ophidian Old Boys from the East Side Phoenix after their rookie season.

DemurePrincess was not afraid to stir the opposition or be a conversation starter and was recognised as the league's biggest yapper in big_icky 's posting statistic list assessments by nearly 1000 match thread posts to the next.

A huge season from DP now earns a well deserved top 20 in the beez after finishing 51st in the season 36 edition of the award and names her as one of the biggest improvers between seasons.
