What do you think of this? (Steep Canyon Rangers, Sweet Spot). "Americana" is probably the best description, bridges the bluegrass/country gap.

Still a bit too country. Not enough going on in the music like bluegrass. I listened to ‘Dueling Banjos’ the other day. Such a great piece of work.
