I always found Mortlake pretty chilly coming from central Victoria.

Nothing colder than that, used to go to Ballarat swap ( Jan ?) it would be sleeting, truck sinking into ground ( don't sleep under 12 ton trucks in wet weather).
I'd be rugged up, suffering frostbite and the locals are walking around wearing t-shirts - 'ooh must get cold, like a lot cold here in winter'
