There was some talk of having the match relocated due to the condition of the ground? I'm told if it rained today, then the game would be at Bentleigh Rec. Looks like this morning's good weather might have saved you.
Is there playing surface not up to scratch??

I know they moved cricket away from the ground late in the season, so it can't be great.
Ground will be fine - Cricket Club volunteered to move in January so Council could start work early. They will obviously befeit next year with what will be a great surface.

Looks like you were a bit premature, Bentleigh didn't look soft to me & totally outplayed the Rockers on their shithole ground.

Totally outplayed is going a little bit too far. You were 14 points up with 10 minutes to go.
Well we got a side on the park and even though the result wasnt good i think we proved ppl wrong who have talked about us only losing by 7 goals to the runners up last year in the seniors and getting 2 sides on the park oakliegh twos will go a long way this year best twos side i have played against in 5 years
What happened to Prantzos and Zurak. have they gone?

Well done, but you only had 17 men in the two's. What is going to happen when you get injuries? I heard you had some ring ins last Saturday, is that true. Also you haven't answered strobler's question as to the whereabouts of Zurak and Prantzos to name a few.

Looks like the extended easter/bye break will come in handy for the team and the ground. Hopefully the coach will be up and about by then.
Was speaking with a caulfield bloke during the week and both the players mentioned above are out injured. But should be back sooner rather than later.

He's been a colorful character over the years but nobody could begrudge Tim Sim finally saddling up for his 200th with the Rockers following a battle with cancer. There is a "Call to Arms" Charity drive at the Black Rock v South Yarra game on Saturday

Great game of footy Sat Beena vs Highett, well done to Highett who did well to get back in front & kick some late goals to seal it.
Not sure there is any outright favourite at this stage of the year with some sides in the mix still yet to play each other, but the top 5 looks set.

The competition this year in the top half looks really even. Bentleigh have lost two games by under a kick and Beena have won two the same way, so they could swap in the second half. Highett and Springy haven't blown away other contenders. There should be five teams who fancy their chances this year. Might come down to injuries at the business end.
