How did the cobras cerberus game go?
Cerberus got up by 23 points.

Not overly concerned.

Weather was damn hot and blowing a gale and end result was 10 scoring shots to 13. Both teams had players out and the game was scrappy at times so hard to get a good gauge on where both teams are at. Just nice for the players to finally get a hit out and wake up on Sunday with some soreness!!!

We'll keep plugging away and working on things and worry about our own development as a team (Club) so we can be competitive again. It may take time, but we'll get there.

Two games this week against Chadstone (ressies) and Nunawading (Seniors) at our home deck with players returning so we'll know more about ourselves after this weekend.

Then, it's ROUND 1!!

I think cpl and Frankston will be teams to beat maybe Lyndhurst
Can’t see lyndale challenging might struggle to play finals
Unless they are hiding something up their sleeves
CPL ? hahaha coach has got no idea , unless he's got the cattle? Frankston all the way lacey knows his shit and has recruited well

Frankston couldn’t even beat a club 13 side last week they are all out for themselves and recruited guys who couldn’t play in a div 5 vafa side.

CPL played Sth Mornington today I heard and went on to win by 10 goals in shit conditions .
Apparently the Dolphins were there watching on maybe seeing how CPL are shaping as they played Sth Mornington last week and got rolled by 60 odd points but who knows if all the Dolphins players were in and at full strength !??? Kirkland is very capable and a good signing if he does play @ Frankston

They were also heard talking up their chances apparently their coach was saying the Kirkland was going to single handly win them them premiership and kick 100+ goals.

Surely not NM !! That's not the message the coach should want to be sending and being so reliant on 1 player !
No Good

does lyndale have any decent mid fielders because Thomas Trevor day pretty decent foward line for div 4.
would easily be better then a few div 3 foward lines

Dandenong lost to Hallam by 4 goals.....not sure if it was a 6 quarter game or not, but obviously pretty tough conditions

Don't think dandenong will be as bad as everyone thinks. Nathan Boyd is a good operator, they have a few good players that will rock a few sides. Big metro Scott will be a handy pick up played a few ones games at keysy in the ruck in the old Casey league his no mug

Boyd's a terrible operator lol Accpeted a twos coaching role with a fellow then Div3 club in late 2013 for the 2014 season, nek minute he's on keysie page as their new twos coach haha ??couldn't even have the decendacy to call lol... He will jump ship with a better offer, will leave dandy in worse position than when he arrived... also wouldn't worry about hanging around for a beer after the game, he won't return the favour

Boyd a good operator, that is honestly the funniest thing I've ever read.
The guy has no idea about tactics, loyalty or honesty.
In all honesty the club and him are a perfect match, both basket cases.

I heard yesterday that Shane Thomas isn’t training at lyndale during the week due to asthma. What a crock!

It's TRUE Shane didn't train this past week but we were well aware of the reasons behind it.
He has been a regular on the track since he signed up.
