Can someone tell us how NicNat is going and when is his realistic return to the AFL?

He's fubared.

Will play a couple of games at the back end of the season and look like dogshit.

Big 2024 pre-season hype and then go TBC before the praccies.

Farewell game/s late 2024 and then it will never be spoken of again.

Yep, he's currently undergoing a delicate and complicated medical procedure called 'delay bad news for long enough for the media to forget Trevor Nisbett gave a cripple a two year deal.'

2017 just reminds me of losses where we were 30 points up in the 3rd/4th qtrs and got over run.

At least 4 or 5 I reckon.

Could've easily been top 2/4 with luck

I think in every game except one, we were either in front, near level or within a couple goals midway through the third term. It usually all went to shit after that.

Then we took the next step in 2018.

We're currently seeing the same pattern (albeit a fair bit back from 17/18 haha). Last year we'd play 3-4 shit quaters and get smashed by 80-100 points. This year, injury woes almost just as bad, and we're playing 1-2 shit quarters and getting smashed by 30-40 points.

I'm fairly sure he did, especially towards the end of the year but I can't find anything online about it
Would explain why both him and Williams were offered 2 year contracts. Club knew he wouldn't play much in 2023 but generates to much community involvement as a figurehead of the club. Keep williams on to take ruck duties over 2023 then fingers crossed Nic plays a few games in 2024 and then a mid season retirement after ****ing his legs again

It was said earlier in the year when his Achilles issue first came to light that he’d been managing soreness with it on and off for a long time and it had flared up a little bit

Going glass half full maybe our new Killer can fix it properly by strengthening the muscles around it properly like it’s being talked about and he comes back better

Now about those knees….

Am I correct in saying that anyone with "TBC" next to their name is longer than 5 weeks out?

Yeo says 3-4 weeks, Harry Edwards and Jack Williams say 4-5 weeks and the rest say TBC so I'm guessing no one will be back before the bye.

Crazy. Plus who knows what injuries will pile up before then

When will we find out about Chesser? He’s 3 weeks into an originally estimated 4-6 week injury and still given the glorious status of TBC.

Fair but if guesswork in this but I have Shuey, Sheed, Hough and Long coming back for Gold Coast. Hurn is the only one with Jamieson who would be up for senior selection this week. Who knows with Sheed though or Hough, Long, Cole, NicNat, Cripps, Ryan, Chesser, Gov and Hewett. We might know with Chesser sooner than Hewett or not. We really need a few soldiers back for GC and Hawks.

Exactly. At our current rate of attrition we're going to need top ups pretty soon.

I'm pretty sure Long Will be available and will play.

Looks like our wonderful local newspaper has noticed what a joke this is;

It's probably similar to a lot of the stupid abbreviations you get offshore these days....TBC is actually an abbreviation in disguise for "Trevor Nesbitt says no, don't tell the plebs"!!

For those smarter than I who don't pay for the rag that is the West...

Roger That: West Coast Eagles fans deserve more than ‘TBC’ when it comes to injury list

Samantha Rogers The West Australian

West Coast fans are being asked to stick fat through a second year of a mounting injury crisis. But the light at the end of the tunnel is being blocked by three letters that the Eagles are dishing out every week on their injury list: TBC. ‘To be confirmed’ is usually reserved for injuries that are yet to be assessed properly or where the recovery can be unpredictable. While no injury comes with a guarantee you’ll be fit by a particular date, there is almost always a guideline of when you might be ready to return to work. West Coast currently have 10 players listed as TBC on their injury report, with everything from hamstrings to knees to ankles - even a throat.

Across the remaining 17 clubs across the competition, a total of 15 players are listed as TBC while a handful more are out indefinitely. If the Eagles are asking their membership base and broader supporters to pay to put their bums on seats and sit through a tough period, the club must be transparent about when players ruled out through injury might return. West Coast coach Adam Simpson said after the Port Adelaide game that Jamie Cripps (ankle), Jeremy McGovern (hamstring) and Liam Ryan (hamstring) have all had surgery.
