On any day 6 teams could win it but only 4 spots available - injuries, Covid and holidays will decide who makes these finals.
Same for the Reserves
Ashwood still couldn’t get it done with BR having no ruck and key outs. As the game finished, Chunky Rossborough started accusing the umpires were corrupt. Good sort down there at the Ashwood 🤥

Both teams had key personnel out. Do some research.

Was arguably the game of the season so far, a great contest, highly skilled and that’s all you can come back with to report is about Rossborough?

Get a life.

If you think that game was highly skilled you clearly don’t watch much footy. Didn’t recognize many outs for ashwood..

Had there captain out as well as many of there half forward line. Put up a great fight and were a kick from winning it with many 2s in the side

Tips for the week-
BR over Beena- 10 pts
Ashwood over EH- 3 goals
SY over clayton in another boilover
Narre sth over CPL to make it tighter for the 4th spot

Reserves spots will be tight now with Narre coming home strong, still to play most of the top 4 and Clayton in the run home. BR, EHills and Ashwood safe I would say, with the other 3 teams chasing 4th spot. Surprise of the week for me was BR beating Beena, think Beena the stronger side in the ressies.

Clayton locked in to 7th, possibly will go down if Lyndhurst and Frankston both come up?
From what I’ve seen here and there, Yarra could compete a fair bit with Div 4, outside of the Hallams/Lyndhursts of the Div, so would be good for them.

Most seniors results went as expected. But Narre losing big changes up the seniors a lot with still 6 teams chasing the finals, BR and Beena the only certainties

With only 9 teams in D2 (after Hampton went down at last minute), I have heard that no teams will drop down……even though Heatherton should- 0 wins, 21%.
With that in mind 1 team will go up to even up D2 to 10 teams.
Sth Yarra will drop to D4….Clayton will stay…..and top 2 from D4 (most likely Frankston and Lyndhurst) will come up to D3……to keep the number of teams at 8.
Hallam also a huge chance to transfer leagues….so lose them from D4, meaning that Div will drop from 10 teams back to 8.
If Hallam leave it will be:
D1- 10 teams
D2- 10
D3- 8
D4- 8

After seeing heatherton this year the league needs to put them down to div3 so hopefully they can rebuild and start getting a few wins and get there sides more competitive surly Hallam are not thinking of going to outer east as if they do they will lose players Hampton park and doveton picked up a lot of players from clubs in that league because they hated travelling and playing up in the country towns
