I prefer to share what I enjoy rather than what I don't to celebrate the good of the contest. Well, for the most part anyway. When results like that happen, it's time to melt and bag what's so s**t about it.

For a change the best song in the list actually won
It is funny watching others melt about the result though

FWIW mine was a tear-jerker too. It was posted on a private group in honour of a friend/colleague who tragically took their own life

But yeah, yours was the best on the list and I'm glad it won over the heartless FOB cover

That was the one with the guy playing the piano on the beach right? If so, I read the description before listening and really felt that also. The sad, long stare at the end out towards the empty ocean hit hard.

Easily my most hated Billy Joel song. Obnoxious tune. Had zero interest in hearing the "updated" lyrics.

I stopped posting Billies as I recognise even though others' musical tastes differ from mine [just about everyone on here it seems ] it's a great thing that people get enjoyment from their music and I don't like to see them being told it's shit
