I've heard worse covers ...
I should be fair, that was arguably a cover.

For a change the best song in the list actually wonI prefer to share what I enjoy rather than what I don't to celebrate the good of the contest. Well, for the most part anyway. When results like that happen, it's time to melt and bag what's so s**t about it.
That was the one with the guy playing the piano on the beach right? If so, I read the description before listening and really felt that also. The sad, long stare at the end out towards the empty ocean hit hard.FWIW mine was a tear-jerker too. It was posted on a private group in honour of a friend/colleague who tragically took their own life
But yeah, yours was the best on the list and I'm glad it won over the heartless FOB cover
Great theme in his honour too
I see it as you (and any others who opt not to post their Billy anymore) not wanting to own your own Billy but you do youI don't have flood insurance for the tears generated
For a change the best song in the list actually won
I thought I was in for a long few days when, 30minutes after the playlist was released, you had a go at my nom
I stopped posting Billies as I recognise even though others' musical tastes differ from mine [just about everyone on here it seems ] it's a great thing that people get enjoyment from their music and I don't like to see them being told it's shitCurious, why did you stop?
Same question to you GreyCrow and anyone else who has stopped...
Music bridges the gap between all of us, creating meaningful connections and fostering a sense of togetherness. The song competition provides a glimpse into the power of music. As we come together to listen, discuss and vote on songs, our voices come together in a unified chorus of friendship and understanding. Through the process of discovering, nominating, listening and voting, the song competition serves as a touching display of the human spirit and our innate desire for connection and joy. The music itself is but one part of the greater experience, bringing people together in a powerful and beautiful harmony.
Alright, about as much originality as my SPUD theme, but this time we're running with L-E-W-I-S in honor of the great man.
Find me an artist OR song beginning with either, L, E, W, I or S.
No previous podiums.
No songs nommed since round400
No artist doubleups
Should be fairly unrestrictive.
Noms due by 9pm Monday.

[it was a tear-jerker of a video clip though, wasn't it?]
Hulk Hogan slamming Andre the Giant and cucking that guy should both be in both versions of we didn't start the fire
Especially beaten by a Billy Joel cover and Lewis capaldi.Robbed.
Maybe you should focus on nominating a song with more energy this time.I hate these restrictive themes where you have to know the letters of the alphabet.
Then you would be wrongI see it as you (and any others who opt not to post their Billy anymore) not wanting to own your own Billy but you do you
Maybe you should focus on nominating a song with more energy this time.
This didn't age well.Have you thought about, you know, nomming something decent?
Still didn't win thoughThis didn't age well.
