You wouldn't have a clue what West Coast will do. Neither do I.

They may rate him, they may not. Whether you or I rate him is beside the point.

Its all just a lot of hot air so far.
I agree. Clubs do what they want. Do you really think the Crows Supporters wanted to Trade Tony Modra?
Think about it

Kerr will sprung free though salary cap pressure and the need to fit Stinger in the side somehow.

"Tell him he's dreamin."

Ripper, it isn't going to happen! Go back to idolising Dessie.

Have to be Cousins then.
Chick must be out of contract as well.

Chambers, Green or Wooden perhaps.

I don't know where Selwood is at in regards to contract etc. He might be a possibility when it comes to involving a trade or a 3rd party. Cousins signed up just before Judd last year and Chick would be happy where he is.

All that article says is that Steglein wants to go home to Perth, which everyone knew, it was just a matter of confirming it.

It doesn't say anything about WCE/Freo being interested or uninterested in the guy.

'Adelaide midfielder Tyson Stenglein is going home to Perth to continue his AFL career with West Coast."

That is a pretty bold statement to make if there is no evidence of WCE interest...

If Seaby was on the table, he'd go straight to Adelaide and cut the Dogs out. The Eagles wouldn't do it.

I must admit Seaby would be the absolute gun of the group.
Eagles should ask us about Farren Ray if they are interested. If not we will re-sign him for a few years like we will hopefully be doing with Cooney.

I can't see Seaby agreeing to leave the eagles. He's a WA boy and in the paper he said he wants to play his whole career with the eagles. If the eagles are going to trade with adelaide, i can only see them offering a draft pick and one fo the players who are good but can't seem to get into the senior team, like Chambers

Fair call, but until there is a deal done between Adelaide and WCE (and possibly a third club) then it doesn't really mean anything but a journo trying to get a scoop before the even has actually happened.

"He's certainly a player I don't have to worry about in his preparation for a game. He's always spot-on. He's very professional, he's very disciplined. He's very thorough in his preparation. He's a very consistent footballer."

hes going to fit in just fine at the eagles :)

his footballing peak will last for another couple of years, and he will be a very handy weapon for woosha for dealing with matchups. just hope we dont have to pay over the bar for him.

what do adelaide need?
KPP? considering our lack of depth in this area, zach beech or paul johnson are probably the best we could do. they are both young and have potential, but have no kudos that adelaide will be really aware of.
flankers? wooden is in career best form, and chambers could be a dynamite goalkicking HFF if given the oppurtunity. wooden is old and chambers is still young. green is available, and hes done a good job for us in the past, but i dont think adelaide would take him
midfielders? morrison is in great form too.
picks? i cant see the eagles trading away their first pick unless we pick up another first rounder in another trade somewhere. and pick 3 is going on morton, so pick 2

Selwood signed a new contract about 4 weeks ago as did Staker

Adam Hunter for Stengline

No chance we'd give up a backman/forward like Hunter for a midfield tagger. We're weakening 1 of our weak positions and strengthening our strongest position. Makes no sense. Basically Adelaide are stuffed and they will be lucky to get a decent draftpick and a fringe player.

if adelaide dont want to go for our first pick or chambers and our second (which are both ok deals i think) then we are probably looking at braun or morrison heading over. they would both slot into the crows side, and be there for their rebuilding phase over the next some years

im bummed though if this did happen, it doesent significantly improve our list. although i guess if morrison wants a change of scenery
