It really does make me curious about the difference between training watcher interpretations and coaches interpretations of how players have tracked so far.
Really glad to hear that both Saunders and Smitchell are doing well and building up a lot.

Saunders hasnt had a chance to shine yet been injured. Seamus playing deep forward had some moments in the first qtr like a 5 minute spell where he kicked a goal getting out the back. Its hard to stay involved as a forward pocket. Thats the challenge

Ward is making it difficult for the selectors not to pick him for Round 1 based on how impressive his pre-season has been so far.

Lock him in.

Andy Otten mentions Emmerson Jeka is coming along quite nicely. Have not heard much from the training watchers on here. Is he going O/K.

Geez just perusing other teams "Training reports" to help with my Supercoach picks. All I can say is we are extremely fortunate to get the high footy IQ reports we do from some of our (and other) members. It's slim pickens elsewhere.

He's got some serious tools. Burst speed and leap. Good long kick. Yet to see him compete to the same level as Dimma.

He's also got forward nous which is a bonus for a small defender that pushes up.

I rated Seamus preseason prior to Xmas but along with Saunders I’d temper enthusiasm. Hard facts are from box hill Greene and blank rated well above the dooch but he’s come back into calculations given our lack of small forward depth.

Interesting given Brockman, Saunders, Butler and Wingard all missed the intra with pretty minor issues and will presumably all be available in the coming weeks.

Appreciate the info.

Probably prefer we’d leave the a list spot free given that information. Rest a midfielder in the forward line or Impey can go forward in a pinch.

Doesn’t sound like anyone knocking down the door to come in. And lacking a small forward won’t hurt now when we aren’t contending. Gives us an opportunity to blood more youth on game day.

Blank makes the most sense for our list right now with a lack of key defenders. I like what I have seen of him too.

Too far behind several players. And if guys like Bramble are going to play HBF instead of the wing then there's another one.

He’s a no fuss key tall with a little bit of aggression. He might be the fittest looking bloke on Box Hill’s list too. All muscle.

Small forwards tend to be between 178.3cms and 180.5cm are my thoughts. Below is under 11s and above are medium forwards. I will not be moved on this

You should class players on how they play and ignore the height.
