Loved the games of the middle tier players.

Dyl, Braeden with good starts to the season.

Buddy 2 goals in opening two minutes.

Errol with a beauty from distance.

Ladhams a good physical presence.

Even Matty Roberts got some touches in the end!

Lots of upside - Good to beat a team that's had the better of us of late.

Hoodoo well and truly broken I hope good performance did enough to get the win in the end.

Stephen's and Florent games were good so was Mills, Parker played the classical crash n both role in slippery conditions.

Gulden at times was frustrating but brilliant in finishing.

Heeney was okay Logan bit disappointing Franklin had a really good first half then got himself suspended.

Take that win anyday.

Good win. Brought elite pressure and put the game to bed at 3/4 time. Would have been nice to run it out but a professional performance for round one.

Really shitty about Lynch hitting up Parker about the GF hangover immediately after the game. Loved Luke's response though "we put it to bed 6 months ago".

If we lost I would have said it is too early to say grand final hoodoo

and winning doesnt change that, will see when we get to September. I guess we just confirmed what we all know, it is still a good side.

Youth trending up, see Stephens, Campbell etc taking steps

Buddy was better than stats say, he was busting his arse, media trying to rub him out is a joke.

Mclean and McDonald - bad conditions for tall forwards both looked good I thought

Rampe stood up when it was game on.

Plenty to work on.

Where are the suns though, going nowhere

Pressure again was elite tonight, forced turnovers and made them panic.

Stephens should play every game this year he was fantastic.

Tommy Mac was brilliant on King, Chad and errol with the usual star shifts.

Ladhams did the job well, follow up work and around the ground he was great.

Hayden Mclean is such a good kick for goal.

Franklin is a idiot sorry but no big deal he isnt gonna play every week anyways.

I'll disagree with you re: Tommy. Was a bit inconsistent tonight.

Pretty impressive performance considering those conditions.

A few takeaways.

Dyl Stephens has improved out of sight. Fantastic game

Warner has picked up where he left off

Errol was terrific

Logan looked better. Not a huge game but looks a lot stronger in the contest.

Campbell was great. Found more of the pill.

It won't get highlighted but liz pulled off the best kick I have ever seen. His kick in to mills running away from him was literal perfection

Pleasing. Really professional win - the sort of performance you want to see on the road against a middle of the road side.

Stephens is looking so comfortable now and appears set for a big season. Warner great as usual getting us going through the middle. I liked Rampe’s game too and looks like he still has a fair bit left to give this year.
