Disagree by all means. The opinion is there for all to see & we all make our own minds up but you need to let it go rather than going back & forth with it. The both of us did it the other day & it must have been boring as bat shit posting others has to see.
None of us get things right all the time & occasionally we all post some weird stuff in frustration but then need move on.

I said calling Lloyd a flog was harsh. Others agreed with me. If you don't agree that's fine, but no need for this carry on. Standard likes on the post too.

Calling someone a bald-headed flog is pretty strong.

But calling someone just a garden-variety normal flog? That's almost a term of endearment.

The context it was used seemed over the top for the opinion being expressed. It's ok if you disagree.

I think Lloyd is a pretty fair analyst. If Carlton is our biggest threat then I'm pretty happy with that because I think we've got their measure. Still a long way to go in the season but there doesn't look like there's another team that can run with us at the moment.

I agree, many of us have set routines Bonz, and not only in sport. LLoyd wasn't deliberately time wasting but his routine brought the game to a standstill for too long. Other players didn't spend that much time. I suspect the sheer length of Lloyd's routine was a big reason why shot clocks were introduced.

Far more likely due to Saad and Ben Brown that the rule was tightened down.

Not a reason to hate a player or an individual.

Yeah but they play home games at both.

Play Carlton, Collingwood, Freo and Hawthorn as "home" MCG games this season.

They technically have two home grounds with Marvel being their main ground.

Agree, it's why we seem to play Optus so well. I think the more space the better it is for our spread.

Think a lot of that is due to Anzac day.

Collingwood do admittedly play (2) home games at Marvel as well.

in terms of his commentary i've always rated lloyd, he's as unbiased as i can recall any former player who turned to media work post-career, and i think he makes a lot of sense
