07FEB24: Chad Warner Interview
Chad Warner interview is almost an hour. Enjoy.

Andy Maher, who I usually find insufferable, was outstanding in that interview with Mills. Whether it was sincere or not, his eagerness to talk about the Swans and the bloods history and what the club is all about really shone through.

And Mills was a good laugh too. Both he and Rampe have seemed really relaxed about the whole new leadership thing in their interviews they've done so far as opposed to treating it as this serious business matter. Good to see.

I listened to the chad interview today. Interesting comments regarding the grandfinal humiliation. Seems the boys underestimated the opponent more so than wetting the bed. Im not sure which is worse though?
I think Chad's version is a better scenario for the next one. Easier to correct.

Even if they don't make the team I LOVE the pressure!!!
I think even Adams is under pressure. Those 3 have been around now 3 years. That is when players take off for certain. Sheldrick inside, Corey outside, Roberts apparently off half back. Pressure brings out the best in everything and everyone. At least one of them will make the team round 1 I reckon. I have heard that where you are drafted or traded does not matter when you come to the Swans. It is a level playing field once you are there and everyone has a chance to make the team. It is just your performance.

I can't wait until the team is announced.

I hope I can get to both preseason runs. The game last year vs Brisbane was pretty instructive and I expect this year's to be even more so. I expect a couple of these conundrums to be resolved.

I have said it before and I'll say it again.

I just love a pre-season battle for spots. Two players, sometimes even three, all getting the same opportunities, battling it out for one spot. It can make otherwise meandering games completely gripping. A round one spot can be so crucial to some players.

I love the 6 minutes per hour of content that SEN provides (in between ads and self promotions)
There's only one way to listen to SEN. That is via their podcasts. Sure, it means you may have to wait a hour after the particular show (segment) is finished, but it's worth it. No ads or promos.
