Robbo whinging “It came at good time for us.” And a bad time for the travelling Suns. They played a freshened team at their home off the bye. That’s not fair

We hadn't been home for 3 weeks, Suns have already had a bye..

Gold Coast played Hawthorn last week. They were coming off a bye as well.

AFL Statement of Clarification

Due to the coaches' concerns regarding the infinitesimally minscule confines of the SCG, the AFL has, in the interests of fairness, introduced alternative boundary lines for visiting teams.

For the Essendon game in Round 2 the umpires adjudicated based on a dashed line. After complaints from some Swans fans SCG staff were directed to re-paint the dashed line to avoid any confusion as to where the boundary lay.

The solid boundary line applies only to Swans players, while the dashed line applies to players from opposition teams.

These new boundaries are being trialled this year. If successful, the following new rules will also be considered
  1. Due to size restrictions, no coin larger than a five cent piece may be tossed.
  2. 50m penalties must be taken from the car park
  3. Goal celebrations must be held later, at a larger venue
  4. No more than two players per team on field at any time, with a further 21 subs to choose from.
  5. Marks will no longer be rewarded as any kick travelling 15m will be out of bounds
  6. Only one umpire will be allowed on the ground.
  7. Runners will not be necessary as coaches can whisper instructions directly into player's ears.

Some imbecile at SEN has picked team of the week and no Heeney !
Scott Lucas after match yesterday on SEN gave Heeney 3 Errol 2 and Grundy 1

King this morning said he can't get an idea on the Swans , well we're 5 and 1 you idiot, the poindexter with him had his top 4 and had Collingwood 2nd , of course Geelong 1 , he hates us

Getting towards the point where you can look at the drawn and see who has had it easier...

Whateley has become a big head like Slobbo thinks he sets the AFL agenda
the seedings were hilarious.. First Crack seedings all failed to include the Swans too.
Oh well.. there a good chance that Geelong lose next week and the Swans flog Hawks, leaving the Swans top of the ladder with the best %.. including having scored the most points and in the top 2-3 teams defensively.
Wonder if the Swans crack into the seedings then ?? prob not.. At least the Vic media is not trying to hide their bias
