Geez, its going to be dark at work next week.
Or not.

To lose like that is heartbreaking :(. Congratulations Sydney, you have had a great season and deserve the win. Please spank St Kilda next week, its the least you can do for knocking the catters out...

I hope that puts paid to the rubbish that footballers tears are a sign of weakness. The cats players looked shattered.

I do recall us beating them. If anything I'd reckon we'd be a better contest for them.
Stkilda are a much better side now than when you last played them earlier this year and with that pathetic forward line Geelong have they wouldnt have got anywhere near Stkilda next week

Wow! I was on the edge of my seat for the last 2 minutes. I nearly p1ssed myself when Nick Davis kicked that goal in the dying 2 seconds of the game. The cats worked very hard all game. Thanks for a great semi final Sydney, and Geelong.

Getting up this morning I am guttered - absolutaly guttered. Got no sleep at all last night, that final passage of play just kept repeating over and over in my head :(

We deserved it. The wrong team won. In front the whole match until the last 5 seconds - that is absolutaly gut wrenching.

But the fact is, Sydney won, and there is nothing I can do about it. The AFL would be happy, but I'm not. The football gods must be against Geelong - every year ends in dissapointment :(

Good luck next week swans - wish i was in your shoes.

Well said. Gracious, heart-breakingly true. We did not deserve to lose that and if it wasn't for Davis we would've won by 2 goals. In the end you can point the finger at injuries and half-fit players; at six day breaks and at undersized rucks; but in the end the simple truth of the matter is that we lost, and you won, and good luck to you.

A long time Swannies friend (think Capper era) said that if the Swans lose this week we simply weren't good enough. I was trying to convince myself of that for 3/4 last night. Then Nicky D won the game by himself (with help from Crouch and Kirk).

Heartbreak last week. Pure joy last night. "onwards to victory"
