Look, every club has supporters that do things that are cringeworthy. That PAFC cheer squad at that shield game was a bit awful, in a similar way to the Crows fans singing the club song to Sydney at the airport was really embarrassing for Crows supporters everywhere.
But this was a sanctioned club event. People who get payed good money to market the Crows came up with this. I mean it's good that they recognised that Crows supporters are always drowned out by Port supporters at Showdowns and attempted to rectify the situation, but how was this ever going to be anything but a massive blunder?
Just another effort in the long line of really moronic marketing decisions from the Crows, from the state guernsey blunder to the port road flag rejection to whoever is letting Sando write his own speeches. It might be time to sack your marketing team and start again lads.
