Great ratings for the Swans Bombers game. Would really love to see the breakdown of each city from that 338k.

Very impressive, and some more justification for the GC Suns IMO (256k), from a ratings POV.

They are aiming for 20k of members and a flag within a couple of years, don't know the flag, but 20k of members would seem to be in reach.

Dunno how many of them were Suns fans, but it does show that if you play entertaining competitive footy people will watch it. GWS ratings have been awful, as were GC ratings in their first couple of years as well. but since the Suns have been playing good footy they've started getting decent numbers on TV.

Impressive figures for MNF. I assume this game was a Fox Footy only game ? Or was it on FTA in WA?

Fantastic ratings for MNF. The nrl last night only got 229k. I think Fox Footy should definitely push for more Monday night matches next year.

If I were seven or fox id be pushing to get rid of the saturday afternoon fixture - which rates awfully - and replacing it with monday night.

Hi wookie,
Long time reader, first time respondent.
Can you supply ratings / viewer numbers that compare the last year of 16 teams and now? Ie are there now more viewers as a result of the extra teams and where are they?

The problem with this is that the TV deal changed as well as the number of teams, so we went from 4 FTA and 4 STV to 4FTA and 9STV. The year before this Sydney and Brisbane changed from main channels to digital with little to no warning.

Your going to need to be a little more specific with your request

I'm just interested to know whether theres anyway of showing GWS / gc have grown the pie. I suspect they have, but I'm wondering whether that can be shown

News ltd logic.

The league chief pointed to strong ratings from Monday night's West Coast-Richmond clash - which was aired live on pay television - as an indicator that fans may be warming to the idea of more regular games on Monday night.
"There's a lot to like about Monday night football and I heard a few players interviewed - I heard Jack Riewoldt say you know 'We were on the big stage, we were on national television'," Demetriou said on SEN's Morning Glory program.
