??… thats an article from 2015!… how is that in anyway relevant?..
the whole discussion/rumour centres around him maybe wanting a trade to an Adelaide team because his missus is going to be in Adelaide..
what he may or may not have wanted to do back in 2015 in his draft year means nothing now.
still.. do we really want him?.. Mutineer seems to suggest a page or so ago he’s poor by foot. if so.. no thanks. we need an elite mid or three. not more poor ball users.

His partner probably didn't play netball in Adelaide 7 years ago
Rob !! Absolute horrible player , the only thing he can do is drop back in hole and take marks in defence . Every other facet of his game is below amateur standards fitness aside. Ruck work, kicking , connection with mids and agility s___ks.

He couldn't get near it, and the one time he got a free kick, he kicked it straight into the man on the mark which lead to a Port Goal
Berry sat on the bench for almost the entire first half. Seven of his CBAs were in the last quarter. He was playing as a defensive inside mid. Whilst Berry has struggled to get much of the ball in the preseason, I still expect him to play in round one.

Yeah weird treatment of Berry I thought. When he was near it he was defensive.

Probably one of those who in shortish time will be overtaken TBH. I like him but moving forward I don't see him as best 22.

Yeah I am. I mean I love what he brings for now but I do see him as a bit more limited than some of our other young mids.

Yeah I don’t see it with Berry, not great disposal, we need better mids than what he brings. Cue the thumbs down

I think his disposal is ok, but not in front of goal of course. He's very handy depth in future IMO but not a best 22 member
I have to say that I am not sure why he has been pushed into the midfield this early. Doesn't have that much of an impact but does show the odd glimpse. I would actually prefer McHenry to be pushed mid before Berry. They must see something and are hoping it clicks into gear early like it has with Harry.

He doesn’t have what Harry does, you could see his quality very early on
Agree, not comparing skills with Harry, he is going to be something special. But it clicked with Harry really early and I think they are hoping it does with Berry too but not convinced it will.
