Honestly, I don't think Boland has done much wrong. Maybe a little pedestrian at times, but a fair % of his conceded runs have come from fine edges that have gone to the rope, his bowling has mostly been accurate and he's made them play a bit. It looks like people had preconceived opinions about him and have just stuck with them.
