No idea how some on this site can like Kohli. He's been a weasel his whole career. Very dislikable little campaigner.

Deserved sanction for trying to rough up a teenager.

It's a pretty nothing incident for me but obviously if this was in India and roles were reversed Konstas would struggle to get out alive.

At the end of the day the sanction means SFA because the BCCI will quietly make it disappear. The best punishment would be for the bowlers to read him the riot act tomorrow

When you make a nuisance of yourself with reporters only days earlier you build yourself a high horse that's hard to live up to.

Love King Kohli, always have, always will. The optics were poor on that, it warrants that sanctioning incoming. Very unnecessary. He’s one of my all time favourites though, will miss him when he retires.

Funnily enough the clip Fox Cricket showed was Konstas naming Kohli as his favourite player to watch, something akin to that. They’ll probably end up in the IPL together soon enough. I reckon many teams would have stood up and took notice of that onslaught this morning, he may find himself some lucrative opportunities on the t20 circuit in addition to a long Test career in front of him.

Thought India would get blown away in that last session especially under scorching weather and being pummeled around earlier in the day. They’re still hanging in there in the match with those late wickets. However a 370+ first innings score I think is beyond them still, with a misfiring batting line up and too many of them out of form.

Close to 90k at the G for Boxing Day and boy can the AFL learn a lot about the entrance and exit today.
Entry was painless, arrived with less than 20 minutes before first ball and took no time at all to get in. Took no time to get a drink before play. Even the bottleneck at Richmond Station as everyone was leaving was non-existent... Which then usually flows on to a mad dash at Southern Cross to get a train home.

All 3 of these things are usually painful at AFL games at the G, often with less attendees.
The concourses, lounges and bar areas having very effective air-con systems was also a welcome quality of life nicety.

Different type of game... Incomparable
