Jaksh loved his Chai Lattes never chucked on size
Wright has plenty of size, but he has no balance at all. He's like a baby giraffe and as soon as there's any body contact he stumbles around like a drunk. It's funny to see because he is a big boy but just can't stand up in any 1v1 contest.

Remember when many were pining about missing out on Wright for the Jaksch deal?
Seems as though it may have ultimately amounted to a loss either way. :)

We do have what genuinely seems to be a very talented squad, so it's now what we make of it.
Players Kemp, Philp, Honey, Dow, O'Brien, DeKoning, Stocker, Kennedy etc all seem very talented in their own ways, but just to develop them well and some may have to be a little more patient, than they may would otherwise care to.
Have to keep spirits up and develop, develop and then develop a little more and maybe soon we can genuinely 'show' that we have depth.
Wright would flourish in the right environment. Would be a very handy second ruck/forward option.

Brackets the least likely to hold his spot if Charlie was available.

Marchbank would struggle to replace anyone at the moment because of the flexibility of the current set up. Incapable of playing the Plowman role before all the haters start in on him.

Cunnnnningham fitting in well, would be most likely to be under scrutiny if Fish was available because of the ability to go through the middle and accumulate. Dow most likely gets Newnes spot if he cannot get more involved.

Agree that Kreuzer will struggle to get past Pittonet at the moment, but how do you leave him out when fit? We have proven time and again that we cannot play two ruckmen, particularly as Casboult is a 10x better relief ruckman than either of them are relief key forwards. It is one or the other.

The spot is now for Willo to lose, not sold on Newman being that much of an upgrade once Willo is confident in his body.

Wont see Kemp this season in the seniors, going to be happy when we do.

Agree that we can cover the existing injuries, don't want to test that any further than we currently are.

Kreuzer, Marchbank and Newman are all not in our best 22, agree.

Would be nice to have them fit, but not a disaster in the context of 2020 and no reserves competition.

The stuff I'm hearing on the wireless re Rowell is pretty much identical to the Walsh love-fest experienced last year. Latest is not always the greatest. Support our man.

I think the power has gone to your head. Take a Panadol and lie down for awhile.

I have no power. I'm essentially a clerk.

Pittonet is better than Kreuzer at this stage of their careers. Marchbank doesn't displace any of the current back 6, nor does Newman. Williamson is better than both.

Interesting regarding Marchbank, high pick, paid a high price to get him and I’m not sure where he best fits.
Long term, what do you do with him, not many players his age, want to sit in the 2s and hope for an injury.

I love Willo, but he's not better than Marchy yet.
You fit Marchy in and move Willo or Samo up the ground.

Any truth to what Sam Mclure said on Footy Classified last night about Tom Papley?

Said that he is probably the Swans most important player (along wiht Heeney) and Carlton stuffed up their chance to recruit him last year. If we had planned it out better he'd be at Carlton right now, but apparently we played our cards too early in the year, and now (according to "scoop") he's no chance of coming to the Blues...

Wonder if Scoop knows that Papley has a long contract. Was going nowhere unless the Swans wanted to do the deal.

Don't rate Marchy with ball in hand.

Feels like he take forever to make a decision. Just let's oppo get back into position and then bombs it long down the line.

Love the way he defends though. Great intercept marking.

See how he goes with more support and better options up the field

Wondering when Cain came out very early in the piece and revealed what type(s) of player(s) we were exactly in need of, did not really help things at all... Not trying to rehash old shit or hang him out here, besides how messy the way things ended up he’s membership rise and new sponsorships have been magnificent, but my thoughts at the time we’re although what others clubs may perceive what types you may need or chase you never reveal your hand, always wondered if that was one of a few things that started the downfall of things between certain parties ..It virtually takes away some of the leverage you hold trade wise... just a thought...

Here's hoping. I'm thinking that perhaps was over coached under Bolton. Perhaps he was thinking And trying to consider too many things at once, not wanting to stuff things up.

Might go better if Teague let's him just play.

It just occurred to me we've had no eligible RS players in the first 3 rounds. Reckon it'd have been a few years since that were last the case.
Think they have all been nominated, except the ones who have debuted yet.
