Just found this thread, emotional roller coaster. Feel like Matthew McConaughey in Interstellar watching all the tapes of his sons life except I’ve just relived the lives of about 20 dogs.

… so way more emotional.

Pic of the Saints jumper would be nice too. Where'd you get it framed?
Can’t remember, but I can find out.

It’s the Moorabbin guernsey from a couple of years ago. My old man is the first name on it; we did it as a surprise for him.

Yep it's a beautiful guernsey, my old mans name is on it too. Just a very slick frame is all xx

Not one this size

Daughter and partner against our sage advice got this dog.
Surprise surprise she has a baby and we get a 50kg pure breed that costs $250 a month to groom and $80 a month to feed.

Lovely dog, beautiful nature, but FMD its a bloody lifestyle. View attachment 1598063

Considering this thread has made a reappearance. This halfwit, known for eating socks and undies (then either spewing them up or shitting them out), decided about six weeks ago to swallow a champagne cork whole, got stuck in his small intestine and had to have emergency surgery to remove it.

$6500 later. Luckily, I made my daughter keep the pet insurance and I paid for it. $125 a month but we got something like $6000 back all up.

I tell you he may be lovely to look at but FMD he is as dumb as a box of hammers.

We got dumped with this idiot seven weeks ago “for six weeks” while her owners went on a caravan holiday.

Now they’ve come home - without telling us - and then asked us to extend for another two weeks while they go to the US.

I... I think we have a dog now.

*I bought her the duck this morning on a whim…

Was this one taken on a timer or something? You look so bloody cute! xx

Smokey(cat) is 16 years old and was my mums cat. He is at my partners place. He is sick. Not eating much. Went to vet, vet does not know what is wrong, blood tests don't show anything. Probably do cat (dog) scan next. Another issue we need to go to sunshine coast Wednesday week to see my partner's kids. Issues.

Life!!! Not easy.

Lexi came in when i got home yesterday, and i dried her off, but she didn't want her dinner.
She was walking round kind of lethargic.

Later in the night she was lying on my ensuite floor which is not a normal spot for her.
I patted her , got her water, and looked up what time the vet opened in the morning.

She never made it to morning.

Goodbye my beautiful silly girl.

**** that's terrible man. The thought of losing a dog is almost worse than the thought of losing some of the humans I know.
