I hate how in some competitions (EPL, World cup soccer, rugby) how you can tell the shirt maker then work out the team from the sponsors logo - oh and the colours are in there somewhere.

I don't mind vareity but where the sports manufacturers 'identity' comes first it sucks.

Hawks and eagles is like that.

I note that richmond, essendon have similarities, as have the stripes - but that pre-date commercialism.

I also wonder if its why the hawks switched logos to a birds head a couple of years back - a bit of subtle pressure form puma

Yes, but they are all original designs (stripes, sash etc) West Coast have just copied our guernsey, looked too much like Hawthorn's.

Puma have not made a decent alternate or clash jumper in years. This one just adds to the list, it would be a lot better if it were a Gold strip rather than boring old white.

the Eagles jumper looks good.. at least they didn't make the back dark like Hawthorn which stuffs up the clash difference. Of the three clashes that look the same (Crows being the third) West Coast are clear winners.
