Not talking exclusively about those players. Just any player on their list. They'd all be aware of what happened in the past under Hird. And it's not about thinking "oh he's going to come back in and inject us with who knows what again", it's more about realising just how ****ed the club is based on long and short term history. Constantly unable to even win a final, terrible club politics with a guy like Sheedy on the board and now seemingly going back to Hird in a decision that would simply be pandering to the lowest common denominator Essendon supporters. The list goes on.
