After seeing the Contested possession graph that shows that hawks losing that stat for some time (except against WC) I'm thinking the curse of the contract has kept on kicking on... Lyon, Hardwick, Buckley, oh my... Clarkson?

I think the majority of pre-season top 4 tips are going to look a bit sorry in the end.
I have a good mate who's a Collingwood supporter (I know, I know) who put $50 on us to win the flag after the Hawthorn game. He's now rung, emailed, texted and verballed me twice, whingeing that he's lost the ticket.

When that person gets quoted, you see the context of what is being talked about but you then have others following up on the discussion topic. While it is only one person blocked out, it becomes confusing trying to connect the dots.

My recollection is that they were sharing chf roles with Playfair doing the bigger share of it and it was working quite well. Playfair then had his jaw broken and seemed to be gun shy after that, Gardiner wasn't up to it on his own.
A few seasons ago when Dawson finally strung a few consecutive games together I posted on here somewhere that the following season he would be the 2nd best ruck in the comp behind Naitanui. He then did his kneecap or whatever it was and was stuffed again.
Josh Walker, I doggedly defended him on here but now that he's consistenly getting full games and a more prominent role at Brisbane he's just not that good and, imo, it all comes down to his kicking. It must just suck the life out of his confidence.

Something about Motlop and a vest comes to mind. Nevermind, I don't think anyone remembers it, it was barely discussed.
I said round 1 Kersten would never make it. Maybe early days but he's looking very good.

I also thought Gamble and Tenace would be 150 gamers.
Was very optimistic about Jansen having watched him and Cripps tear it up in Colts over here. Something has happened though , hope he improves and gets a chance , he's a fantastic young kid
