Does anyone remember when Patrick Dangerfield was playing one of his last games for the Adelaide Crows against Geelong.

It was common knowledge that Dangerfield was heading to Geelong and even though he kicked a goal against them he was applauded by the Geelong faithful. The applause continued pretty much every time he touched the ball.

What if we did something similar for Luke Jackson. Knowing he is most likely coming to Fremantle next year, We could all give him a rousing reception on Friday night. HAHAHA!!!
lol

This is so :$:$:$

Never seen so much media about the dropping of an average player who plays a specialised position on the ground where they have better players available (De Koning)

So much for Silvagni being a "genuine star"

Melbourne have been like Tigers in so much they have been given huge leeway on questionable tactics bordering on if not out right against the rules but hardly ever get called on it pi55e5 me right off.
Then numpty commentators act like they have somehow revolutionised footy. Give me a spell they had a charmed run with injuries and are a good side but wouldn't call them a great side yet.
Interesting to see how Jackson's departure affects them.

This is weird. From the Wikipedia entry about the Murray Bushrangers:

The Bushrangers have produced some of the current elite Australian Football League players through the AFL Draft including Daniel Cross, Brett Deledio, Steele Sidebottom, Steve Johnson, Jarrad Waite, Kayne Pettifer, Justin Koschitzke, Hamish McIntosh, Barry Hall, Fraser Gehrig, Ben Mathews, Steven King, Robert Campbell, Alipate Carlile, David Mundy, Shannon Byrnes & Laitham Vandermeer

Good of Mrs Vandermeer to keep this list of current elite AFL players up-to-date, but where is Clayton Oliver?

Dogs revolutionised throwing the ball and playing for frees.

Claz would struggle to get a game ahead of VanderMeer, McClean, Rhylee West, et al.

Everyone throws the ball these days. It ain't a rule no more, no more, no more, as the song goes, 'bout the Road Jack, or someone...you know, 'hit the RoadJack...'
That's why they revolutionised it.
