Incorrect. Crawford is a New South Welshman too. As for your other piont, not worth replying to and clearly a humourous joke on your behalf.

Just shows how much you know about your own players dummy.

He was born in Mt. Barker which happens to be in the Adelaide Hills which I am sure is in South Australia. Bout time you checked it out.

Which brings us back to Carey. He did the Crawford move in reverse.
Went from Wagga to play his junior football at Nth. Adelaide FC.

See that's the thing about arrogant Victorian's think they know everything, want everything, have the best of everything.

Not so Grasshopper.

And no wasn't joking, but then you'd only followed VFL so what would you know whereas here we followed both.

Crawford actually repersent the afl as nsw in state of origin......

http://www.hawthornfc.com.au/Players/PlayerProfile/tabid/8483/default.aspx

and he is known as a finely boy nsw and played for assumption college in 1992.

He was raised with two other brother (Justin an afl hawk) credit all to his mother for raising them alone and thanked her for all the transport and hard work she gave to him in his footy career.

So Crawford may of spent a short % of his life in adelaide, but up until 1993 he was in finely nsw and this is a fact the afl promots.

Not so arrogrant after all champ

That is the arrogance I was talking about little lady. They decide the rules. And that's the reason I bought up the difference between Crawford and Carey. One was born in NSW and played his junior football in SA whilst another was BORN in SA and played his junior football in NSW. In fact after he won the Brownlow he gave an interview on a local radio station where he stated he regards himself as a South Australian and would have loved to have played for the state. And no he doesn't play for NSW in SoO he played for the ridiculous outfit called the Allies.

They change the rules to suit themselves regarding SoO. And you all accept it as gospel. You can't have it both ways. Now if you want to get into deeper discussion about this, I suggest you dig a little deeper and find out more about how inconsistent the AFL are.

The same goes for the father son rule at present.

The tribunal is an absolute joke, how was Burton's incident worse than Buddy's?

I REPEAT ABSOLUTE JOKE!

Nah it's consistent with Burtons. The difference why Burton got two weeks was because a) he had left-over points from a previous indiscretion (Buddy had none), and b) he actually lined the player up (where as Buddy's was in the general flow of play).

Not sure we were watching the same replay. If you look at his eyes before contact he had all intention of lining Doughty up.

But in fact he shouldn't have been reported at all if the umpires had done their job properly as he gave a head high arm around the neck to one of our players just before that. Free kick given and hence no report.

ummm.... is this an intentional pisstake?

We all know that Shane Crawford is a South Australian except those in Victoria.

Regarding Matthews, whilst he was very good, we had better in South Oz called Robran and Ebert. And they weren't thugs.

How could you even really compare blokes in a different comp? 900 goals from the midfield/forward pocket. Legendary.

How many weeks did he get in the end?
If he didnt get two..then how come Burton did??
They were the same

He got 1 minus 25% for early plea which left him with a reprimand.

In answer to your question
a) Burton's was slightly stupider
b) Burton has a much worse record
c) Franklin is a star of the comp a la Goodes and must be protected.

Just like people compare players from different eras in the same competition. You know a champion by the way they move and their deeds speak for themselves.

I would rather prefer a silky smooth player in motion that a little nuggety, bullocking bloke who's legs looked like they were working three times faster than their body was going.

Bock did get the points last weekend...but I lost count of the amount of times the ball was cut of by a fellow defender.

I believe the Adelaide defense as a whole cut the supply to Buddy, not Bock, so more praise really should have been directed to the team.

Had he kicked 8-0 instead of 1-6 and 1 out on full, would we all be raving on about Bock's performance? Was it more so a case of Buddy's own boot letting him down?

I wouldn't take Bock's 30+ disposals too seriously. The way Hawthorn played in the last 2 minutes, chipping it around in the backline is how Adelaide played for 20+ minutes of the game...racking up stats.

I can't believe people show up to see that rubbish every week.

In response to Burton v Buddy infringement, Buddy had less time to make an assessment of the situation and Doughty wasn't bent over with his head low to the gorund. A significant difference.

Not sure about Burton's opponent but Doughty I believe played 100% of the match.

I'm sorry but I lost count of the number of times Bock out bodied, spoiled or just read the ball better than Buddy!
and also those 6 behinds came from snap shots because he couldn't mark the ball! plus he had Bock pressuring those snap shots hence why he missed so many! I suggest you watch the game again and Watch how an AA Defender creams the supposed best forward in the game!

and then to add petrol to the fire it wasn't as if Bock sacraficed him self He loaded up and ha the most posessions of the freaking Game and ran off Buddy why he stood and watched! Not once did buddy even attept to chase bock!

and as for kicking it around you should know by now that Hawthorn plays a midfield press or Clarkson Cluster have you ever tried to get through it! would you prefer to bomb it long and lose possesion or hang on to the ball and switch the play to try and find a passage through!

You clearly know nothing about how the game is played!

oh and another thing the kid Burton hit did play the rest of the game infact he was in the very next contest hell the umpire didn't even warrent this contact by Burton as a free kick! yet he gets 2 weeks and Buddy who's reported on site gets SFA!
