Actually what i got from WRB's post is that Port supporters are by-and-large not coming to games purely because of the supposed "superior match day experience" ... they are coming because of the exciting football being played, and the subsequent on, and off-field, success ... which is dead-set true! The amazing match day experience is a bonus!
It's a by product.

It's a by product.

It's like anything on matchday that isn't Port Adelaide playing football.

I don't go to drink $8.50 superdrys and eat $9 'gourmet hotdogs', but it's been known to happen.

controversially selected ahead of James Sellar ...
quoted for awesomeness.. i was just about to post the same thing

geez i wish we had recruited Sellar instead of Boak.. we are in dire need of a Key Position forward and he could be handy for us now
Then again Sellar was almost as good as Daniel Stewart... and could have complimented our quadrangle of doom

out of curiosity... while Boak was finishing equal 4th in the brownlow and making the All Australian team, Sellar is tearing it up at South Fremantle playing ruck and forward

in 14 games Sellar averaged 17 possessions a game, 6 marks a game, 8 hitouts per game and 0.35 goals per game

how we did not take him is anyones guess

Andy "Controversial" Capp July 2007, "..... [Port Adelaide] Criticised [by the author] for overlooking key forwards James Sellar (Adelaide) and Mitch Thorp (Hawthorn) at last year's national draft in favour of midfielder Travis Boak ...."

Maybe Andy could give us "where are they now" article about Sellar and Thorp. Could include a run down of what they did on Brownlow night.

Thought that was the case, didn't really think you would think that way yourself. But it shows what I have always been saying to people, the loss of good grammar in the 70s and 80s is now coming back to bite everyone on the bum when the major communication is by the written word over the net. At least when you talked to people if you made a grammatical error you could explain what you meant.

Danger*rick! can do nothing wrong in this state.

makes me sik. If this was a Port player that did this then look out.

I heard it. Take solace in the fact he and his kind are hurting bad.

Yep. You watch them turn on Dangerfield at the slightest whiff that he's heading off.

And they have the audacity to call us feral.

All that unnecessary pain, when if he just supported a real club...

Rowe, like Cornes and McDermott, has a macabre love for the Crows that transcends the reality they were all sacked by it.

Having been there since day one - when it was just a transportable on Max Basheer Reserve - they're like the long-suffering parent of a child that's gone off the rails. No matter how much you abuse me you came out of daddy's nutsack and I'll defend your abhorrent behaviour to the death.

I will always love you, junior.

still trying to get one over us... what a clown.

still laughing at the bozo saying norwoods win on sunday against a handicapped side full of juniors and a couple of fringe afl players was as good as their 84 win. what an effwit.

Rowe openly coming out and urging the crows to "go get Matty Nicks" as an assisitant. Considering his utter outrage over the mere suggestion Port MIGHT be interested in Taylor Walker I'm rather flabbergasted.....yet not surprised.

What is Nicks' contract status?

Heavy rumours Sanderson has been sacked: "We're great friends of both clubs here and we don't want to go early and cause problems for the Crows if it turns out not to be true."
- S. Rowe

Random and completely unfounded speculation comes out of Tasmania's parliament: "PORT ARE BEING RELOCATED TO TASMANIA!!"
- G. Cornes
