Crazy, Goldy was providing silver service and we still got smashed in clearances.Good question, and all while having the services of a Ruckman who at worst breaks even, usually wins comfortably, and occasionally completely dominates the hitout statistic. A complete change of assistant coaches that handle midfield, stoppage/clearance, and Ruck should be high on Rhyce's to do list. We are nowhere near using available assets wisely.
It took a lot more than emotion to win last week. Take each week on its merits and there’s no pear shaped trend. It was a shit night. Move on. I do not see how bringing VFL players in who aren’t going to result in any improvement is in any way showing concern or drawing a line in the sand. And if you think he should drop players who underperformed to prove he cares, where TF would you start and end? Keep Scooter and JMac and maybe Goldy and do we have 19 available to bring in?A response from Rhys is a must this week (even with little to bring up from the 2's he just has to be seen to be concerned about the loss.)
If he is prepared to 'forget about it - its a once off' then we are in huge trouble going forward.
We have lost 4 out of the last 5 and been smashed in 2 of those games. The one win came from an emotional boost of the 150th.
Things have gone pear shaped quickly and a line in the sand is required.
It’s a pity Geelong weren’t made to play with 17 men on the park for the entire second half - #probablyanotherfalsedawn

As much as the loss wasn't our worst ever, the low score is still a milestone in humiliation.
I do think the club need to make some public declaration around the fact and show some primal anger around this.
If there's no consequence to posting the club's lowest score in modern history - and that includes so many sub-par eras - then we might as well plonk ourselves back in the most consequence free Brad Scott phase.

I was hoping to read some critical reviews on the game, but maybe I'll just go to bed.
Enjoy yourselves kiddies.
I agree, but other than Campbell, Hrovat, Hosie and Durdin, who is there that we can bring in that will make us a better side? It's actually a real test.
It's a largely meaningless game this week and if he's ever going to head on a pike style selection he s not going to get free hits like this often.

Brad Scotts' legacy. If only we weren't so unusually hesitant to see ball and get ball or even take a instinctive risk when the game was getting out of reach, we might still be in a finals position. So many games this year where opposition wasn't the reason they won, but we were just abhorrently worse. Much worse.
Brad Scotts' legacy.
The balance is wrong again. Too many football chasers and not enough respect shown to an opponent.Commiserations on the loss.

Yep. Even tried more Garner, more Thomas and more Ziebell and it did nothing. The way I’m interpreting this is that we were getting smashed in the middle so we added more Higgo for the 2nd half?... and that made it worse?
