Nice to see Jhye and Morris in. Very strong bowling attack which is good, because the batting is pretty shaky with a number of guys in poor form at the moment.

Should already be there. At what point does Bangers go back to Premier Cricket?
Historically the Optus pitch is a batters dream for Day 2/3 and then becomes a minefield to bat on from day 4 onwards... there was one test a few years ago where batting on Day 5 was borderline dangerous. Can't remember who it was against, I feel like it was either the first test against India or the D/N test against the Kiwi's.Was it the first test between NZ and India where it also went from looking tricky on day 1 to being an absolute road for the rest of the match? Don’t often see if change so drastically like this

The team batting last has lost every test so far at Optus, and only once has a team passed 200 in the 4th innings (WI in 2022 made 333).
Granted, it is a small sample size of 4 tests.
On the positive side, WA going nicely. Jayden Goodwin to replace Marnus.
