They came down the wicket to waste time, had nothing to do with cooling Konstas down at all. Khawaja barely spoke to him.

Not his natural position but you take McSweeney to open.
Think you need someone who can balance Konstas intent with someone that can soak some balls up. Konstas in sri lanka will be fun, their pace attack and the pitches over there won’t be a threat but they also move to spin very quickly where he will be challenged
