Uzzie is a pensioner who should have been dropped tests ago.. like Joe biden it’s no longer fun to poke fun at him.

The other two got out to decent balls.

So your objective is to sledge the Aussie team? Poke fun?

Uzzie should be retired. Marnus got out to a decent ball with poor technique. Head got a good one early, it happens but it was more him not playing a decent ball well early in his innings. It was not an unplayable delivery.

Of course Konstas needs to learn. All young players do. But you seem to be critical on a more personal level with your “critiques” of players (cricket or footy) rather than just discussing what may be a valid point of how a player should approach things. You seem to take delight in sledging your own. That’s up to you but it’s hard to take your points seriously when you do that.

The wicket has been a bowler's dream, with every batsman struggling. One way to combat movement when the bowler is dictating is to play the line, defend and hope the ball misses the edge. Another is to play your shots and get runs before the bowler gets you and try to put the bowler off his line/length.

The way Konstas approached Bumrah was perfect given you have to play at most of his deliveries. He should have been more circumspect with Siraj given he didn’t need to play at as many of his deliveries. He will learn that. Regardless, he scored more than Uzzie, Labs and Head combined so not sure why you are focussing on him.
Because he is a miserable campaigner that tries to hide the disappointment of his own failings by bagging out others that have achieved something.

Thanks. I reckon I’ll get by…

Good chat.

Another one unable to actually debate a point
Konstas might come off, but from what I’ve seen in two years time he will be a forgotten player by most in terms of a test cricketer.

"From what you've seen" - what player are you comparing him to that this has happened with?

See if you can dodge it for a third time and confirm without any doubt how completely full of shit you are.

Feel a bit bad for Bumrah. India has rode him very heavily in this series because he’s been far and away their best player. 53 overs in Melbourne, which is quite a lot for a fast bowler who’s not especially tall or broad.

Great [emoji6][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]] for Webster, looks a classy player. More traditional style as well which should keep goroyals happy.

What happened to Bumrah?

Unsure, they think he’s gone for scans. Will be interesting he’s been away for a while and probably won’t get a chance to bowl this innings.

When a series comes down to the 4th innings of the 5th and final test it’s been a very even one

First innings lead for either side is going to minimal - we’re only 23 behind now and not backing us to build much of a lead even if we do manage to get to 185

Whatever India make in their second dig is going to be a challenging chase and they have the opportunity to bat us out of the game if they can post a 300+ run total

With India holding all their catches today, the dropped catch yesterday by Smith and to a lesser extent the one by Lyon are proving costly

The late runs by Bumrah are basically India’s lead

Very good knock on debut by Webster. He can hold his head high figuratively as well as literally
