My 5 year old asks me 50 AFL related questions a day and occasionally they both stump and interest me. Today's is - when there's a draw what happens with the team songs? Do they sing both or neither? I assume neither but from a 5 year old perspective it would probably be nicer if they sang both .

Where can you find out about open training sessions??

Website still shows last Friday...

Is Lions Insider still around?

Is Lions Insider still around?
Last activity was in March.Looks like the club's presence on here has been judged to be not worthwhile(or there has been nothing noteworthy to report for 4 months)

If you ring the club, the person who answers the phone generally tends to have the training times at hand.

Wouldn't blame Lions Insider for moving on to be honest. A few bad eggs decided to use it as a channel for abuse and angst at the club, which wasn't really the point.

Thats really sad if thats the case. I like that the club was represented here, thought it was a nice way to be in touch with the more passionate of supporters.

THe few I've been to or seen over the past decade or so. They roll out Jimmy Barnes "No Second Prize". I've heard that a few times.

Lions Insider has not only been absent ,but a few of those posters have gone pretty quiet lately too.

I wonder why?

Trying to put the pieces together from twitter, the person with the Lions Insider account was switched into a different role at the club. The replacement may not even be aware of the Lions Insider account.

You have incorrectly put the pieces together. :p

Could a player use a team mate as a launching pad to get higher elevation when protecting the goal line?

So for example if an opposition player has a kick from 50m and the distance isn't a certainty could Leuy jump off Sauce to get a finger tip on the goal scoring attempt?

:eek::oops:

Yes, but not something that involves deliberate interaction between the two.
