7 games on Ch.7. Hope I'm at most of em, for my sake.

Although looks like both games at AAMI wil be on 7...so at least 2 games of pain.

Only 3 on Channel 10, thats shit, they at least do a decent job.

And I'll only miss 2 games due to footy, one of which is in Tassie anyway.

That would be for Melbourne only

Look like Geelong and esp the Bulldogs got duded in the FTA stakes considering the season they had last year

As usual Collingeddie get a dream run. Only 4 road trips and only once to Perth. 14 games at the G. Why not rebadge the the AFL with a magpie in the logo.
im pretty sure u have also looked and couldnt find any other Victorian sides that travel 4 times? yeah i thought so

According to the AFL, the 'themed round' (Rivalry Round) will be in Round 17

Round 17 (Themed Round - similar to Rivalry Round)

Friday Night
Carlton V Collingwood MCG

Saturday
Geelong V Hawthorn MCG
Fremantle V West Coast SUBIACO
Brisbane V North Melbourne GABBA
St Kilda V W Bulldogs TD

Sunday
Melbourne V Sydney Manuka
Essendon V Richmond MCG
Adelaide V Port Adelaide AAMI

A few changes from last year (NM V Haw, Geel V Melb, BL V Syd)

I think Geelong have a pretty good TV draw - only two of our interstate games (both Subiaco games) are on Foxtel. All our other Foxtel games are Victorian ones at Skilled/the Dome, which I'll certainly be at and I assume most Victorian-based Geelong supporters will be at too.

I now know why Collingwood is always 3rd or 4th favourite for the flag pre season, because they get the softest draw and play interstate on 4 times.

They can now officially be called the India of footy, may as well call it the CFL (Collingwood football league).

How do the premiers play interstate 5 times plus 4 in Tassy....9 games:confused:

The same reason why Geelong played 5 times interstate last year

The Interstate trips aren't too bad, but the TD games are a joke. We should play North Melbourne and Essendon at the MCG instead of the TD

12 MCG games, 1 TD game would have been a better fit given our status as Premier

10 MCG games, 3 TD games is a joke, that's probably only 11 games that Melb based Hawks fans will be able to attend in full numbers next year

people like you are the morons that keep on drilling this bullshit until people believe it.
You will find half of the Victorian sides last season played 4 interstates matches and a few of the others sold their home matches to play interstate for money.
This season is no different except a few of the teams that played 4 interstate matches now play 5 or 6 away due to requesting to play away eg. playing a match at the GC for money.
Yes we play 4 interstate matches again, the difference this year is less games at the MCG and more at the Dome. The reason this happens is due to the revised MCC agreement where the AFL have to meet a certain number of attendances to make up for having a prelim every week at the MCG. Collingwood draw the biggest crowds hence the AFL use them to make up the numbers. When other sides start drawing big crowds then this will change and Collingwood will travel 5 or 6 times.
Its not rocket science but people like you that dont research this information but just jump on board the "Collingwood wouldnt know where the airport is" tossers.

What about your Tassie fans? tsk tsk.

You have nothing to complain about. St.Kilda play MCG once, round 22.

They get 4 games :thumbsu:

They don't have the AFL scheduling games at a 5,000 seat stadium in high drawing fixtures to ensure sell outs

North V Haw (instead of North V WB) and Ess V Haw (instead of Ess V BL) are both games that would be better scheduled for the MCG instead of TD.

Same with Essendon V Geelong

Your blokes don't bother with frequent flyer accounts.

Typical Collingwood supporter has to personally attack other posters for stating facts. Takes 2 to tango and the argument of Collingwood being the big drawcard is not as relevant as it was 10 years ago. You do a disservice to clubs like Essendon, Carlton, and Hawthorn who have had more success since 1958 than your club will ever see again.

Then again you seem to be a Manchester fan so arrogance is part of your make up.

so you expect to have a pot shot at Collingwood and expect no one to say anything?
Of course being the big drawcard is no longer relevant is it.... who by the way broke the club record for crowd attendances? Collingwood, Carlton and Essendon draw big crowds no matter where they are sitting on the ladder, dont bring Hawthorn into this. When they were struggling you could see empty seats everywhere. This isnt about on-field success, this is about the fixture and getting people through the gates.

Whats being a Utd fan got to do with anything? Arrogant? yeah ok.......
